I think if we are going to have various boards of faith, then we should make sure that we include the various faiths that are well-represented by our participants. 🙂

You guys have been really great about that, and very inclusive.  That is part of why this corner of the online world is so great!

I think I’m a little slow. What’s LDS?

Wouldn’t that fall under "Christian"? Or do they wish to be differently represented?

I think that it would be great to have an LDS board.  We are christians its just that our wedding ceremony is quite different than the typical christian ceremony.  Mrs Alvacodo has several blog post about her LDS wedding.

I think an LDS board is a good idea. Yes LDS falls under "Christian," but so does Catholic, and there is a separate Catholic board. Of course we do have a large contingent of Catholic brides, whereas there does not seem to be as large a community of LDS brides. But conceptually, both of these churches have wedding traditions and cultures that are somewhat unique from mainline Protestant Christianity, which is what the "Christian" board seems to mainly encompass. Having separate boards can nurture these other communities. So if there’s interest I think it’s a great option.

I think there should. Catholic weddings are very different than other Christian weddings, and have their own board. I mean, maybe the LDS group isn’t as active, but I think that it might be because there isn’t a place to discuss it?

Please make one. My FH is LDS and I’d love to see the discussions.

I’m not LDS, all the same, I think it would be a great addition to our community!

YES YES YES! The weddings are so different from other Christian weddings, it would be so nice to hear other’s ideas and stories.

I have plenty of girls I could get on weddingbee if there was an LDS board…haha, there is always at least a few of my friends getting married!

The wedding has come and gone but we are still reading and would have loved to have one – because there are some issues (dress modesty, temple invitations, different style of receptions) and it would be a great way to get feedback from other brides.
