Can someone explain to me why there is lead in crystal? We just registered yesterday, and it didn't occur to me to even consider the lead content. Looking through the crystal thread here, it looks like I should have registered for something with a low lead content.
We registered for the Merril crystal stemware. It look us forever to agree on stemware, since I like patterns, and my FI prefers a more classic look. Should we start over and find something with a lower lead content, or can we stick with these?
