My FI and I have a game, trying to think of the least appropriate "first dance" song for a wedding couple. It started after we heard this funny story on NPR:
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=105250727
The lights dim, the DJ announces the bride and groom and...
...what's the least appropriate song you can imagine hearing at this moment?
"My Neck, My Back (Lick It)" by Khia
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMCMlNyySvo.
Edit: don't click this link from work. it's highly inappropriate. and perhaps highly inappropriate for home as well, hahahaha.
1. Crazy B*tch
2. She Hates me
3. Right Round
4. Back that ... up
5. Chicken dance???
If You Wanna Be Happy by Jimmy Soul

Uncle Kracker- Follow Me. The sad thing is, I can see someone doing it, because if you don't listen closely it sounds sort of nice. And then you realize it's a song about adultery. Prefect for a wedding, right?
We almost picked "Me and Mrs. Jones" because our new last name will be Jones, but then we realized that the whole song is about having an affair. Probably not the best first dance song to choose.
Love the one you're with - Crosby, stills and nash
'If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with'
Gold Digger - Kayne West
Just can't imagine a DJ playing this at a wedding, I would be laughing my butt off.
There is serious talk that our first dance might be Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye.
@ Miss Olive: You win! That song is not appropriate for ANY occasion ;-) I sent FI the link and now he's listening to other Khia songs. Wow [blushing] ... many interesting first dance possibilities in there.
F*** it by Eamon (http://www.lyricsdownload.com/eamon-fuck-it-lyrics.html)
Keep Your Hands to Yourself
She Bop - Cyndi Lauper
I Want Your Sex - George Michael
Hot in Herrre
Work It - Missy Elliot
The Thong Song
Closer - Nine Inch Nails
Akinyele-Just Put It In Your Mouth. I had my iTunes on random one day and this song started when my parents and FI were over. I bolted from the room and changed the music all of a sudden (before the words started). FI still laughs every time this song comes on. I have no idea why I haven't deleted it come to think of it... LOL!
@missolive hahahaa i listened to that link about 3 times...ah the memories!
We went to a wedding where the couple did their first dance to The Police's "Every Breath You Take". Awkward!!! "Oh can't you see? You belong to me, how my poor heart breaks with every step you take. Every move you make, every step you take I'll be watching you!" The song's about a stalker!!!
@bakerella hahaha I forgot about that song! that would be just awful
Ying Yang Twins - Salt Shaker.
So inappropriate, yet so catchy that I am incapable of sitting still when I hear it.

* not work safe
How exactly do you shake it like a salt shaker lol I imagine shimmying haha
White Wedding
Lips of An Angel
Some people might not listen to the words but really they are both not good for wedding songs.
Every Breath You Take by The Police and the sad thing is people have used this! Hello it's about a stalker!!!!
I was thinking Closer by NIN and The Thong song as well! haha
Technically, our original "our song" was Afternoon Delight!
It was Halloween... he and the guys were the team from Anchor Man... I'm a sucker for a guy with a good voice, which he has!
drop it low - ester dean ft chris brown
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjQW_Uy_-uE
this was suggested as our first dance from a friend, who then suggested purple rain would be a lovely second choice.
This cracks me up-it reminds me of the show Arrested Development when Jason Bateman and his niece were singing "Afternoon Delight" to each other in a talent show. Halfway through they realize what the song means...
We so want to play 'Gimme That Nut' by Eazy E since it's got such a great dance beat. But... uh... we think the older folks would most DEFINITELY develop severe cases of angina upon hearing the lyrics. It's bad... very bad...
This link contains some pretty graphic words- you've been warned!!

Cakegal- BEST.SHOW.EVER!!! That episode is one of my favorites.
50 ways to leave your lover! My friend actually danced to this as her first dance song!!! LOL!!
@blondeeebuckeye - Good video!!!
I think anything Ludicris wouldn't fit at a family wedding. I have actually been trying to avoid these songs, but they are kinda fun.

Also reggaeton

The Louis Prima song isn't *as* bad as our generation would assume. When he wrote it a gigolo was simply a paid dance partner (and dance was not a euphemism)
As much as I love Louis and I've DJed with pretty just his songs- it is not being played at our wedding. (However I will gladly dance to it at any other function)
