Well, I am almost ready for our trip to Paris. I have our itinerary, my checklist of items to pack tomorrow, a few new outfits, got my haircut, and today I got my nails done. All the important things, right? 😉
I am pretty sure my boyfriend plans to propose while we’re in Paris. I know he has the ring, but I don’t know where it is or what it looks like. I have no idea what he has up his sleeve! But just in case, I wanted to make sure my nails look good. I was at Target today and I bought a shimmery Essie nail polish called “Show Me the Ring.” I thought it was perfect! Even though I think I own too many expensive nail polishes. I need an intervention!
Here is a picture of it, in case you were wondering. (Not my photo BTW). It’s a really pretty off-white shimmery color with flashes of gold.
Anyway, I will be sure to return with details from the trip, proposal or not. 🙂

Ahhh, how exciting, good luck! I went to Paris the day after we got engaged and it was the most wonderful and romantic trip–you’re going to have an amazing time! Can’t wait to hear all about it, and I loooooove that polish color.

That looks very similar to a China Glaze color I chose at the nail salon a couple of weeks ago. So pretty! Good luck in Paris… it sounds like a dream trip!!

I’m jealous! I would LOVE to go to Paris! I really hope my BF doesn’t wait until our next trip to propose. We’re not planning on going anywhere until our trip to Toronto and Ottawa in November! Well, we might be going to the lake at the end of March, so that would work.
Best of luck! Hopefully the pretty nail polish brings you what it ‘says’ it will LOL. I know what you mean about the expensive nail polishes too. I have probably 40 or 50 different polishes… I could open up my own salon with what I have! I probably paint my nails 3-4 times a month. And I have all sorts of accesories too. A paraffin heater was probably the best purchase I ever made. I want a spa towel warmer next…

@futuremrste: Wow! I want to see your nail polish collection! It sounds amazing. My problem is that there are certain colors that I really love and I keep buying the same or similar colors in different brands and forgetting that I have something similar at home. That is the worst feeling!
Anyway, hope you have a March proposal coming up! That would be awesome. 🙂

Thanks guys! We’re leaving in just a few short hours. I am SO EXCITED — not just for a potential romantic proposal, but for the trip in general. I can’t wait to spend an entire day at Versailles! It’s going to be amazing. Even the weather will be nice (or so it is forecast). Keep your fingers crossed for me and I hope I will return with some good news in a few days. 🙂

Haha! you sound like me before a trip. Always go shopping, always get a fresh haircut, nails, etc. I hate wearing the same old clothes on a trip away 😉
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!
