@JessicaJupiter:  If you’re ever looking to get something expedited talk to your local MPs office. My Aunt works for one and she was a great help when we were expediting a new birth certificate for my Dad.

They are a great resource for all things government related.

@JessicaJupiter:  I can’t even imagine the extra headache! Last thing you need is to worry that you’re going to become Mrs. Name-Name when that’s not how he wants to be the rest of his life!

I honestly had no idea what people did at those offices outside of campaign time but they help with lots of different issues related to provincial or federal government.

How North of a Northern Ontario girl are you? I grew up on the edge of Central Ontario and have only trekked as far as Gogama, a couple hours north of Sudbury.

@JessicaJupiter:  If it’s after it seems like that would be a crazy amount of work as wouldn’t you need to update your marriage license then too? That’s what you need to assume your married name and if that has the hyphenedated name that’s the one you would be able to assume.

What a mess, really hope that all gets wrapped up first!

Can’t say I’ve made it up to Timmins but that’s definitely Northern Ontario! Bet it’s super gorgeous up there in the fall! What a great time for a wedding.

@JessicaJupiter:  I’m hoping for a light dusting of snow! Not enough to make driving a pain as I have a lot of out of town guests (my side) but some ground covering to make everything pretty!

Did you look up the sunset time for that day? I know I totally did, I never even thought such a thing was available. What would we do without the internet 🙂

@JessicaJupiter:  Sunset is 5:20pm for us, our ceremony should be over around 4:30pm. My FI is Jewish and we’re having a Jewish style wedding so the majority of the pictures will be taken before the ceremony. We’ll probably grab a few more during cocktail hour, can drag in some other family then too in case they can’t make the earlier timeshot for pictures.

Hope you have good weather, just picturing the lake and trees and sunset! Sounds like a recipe for awesome shots!!

What type of venue did you choose?
