I would give it an hour if you can ... it definitely will take much less than that, but you don't want to be rushed. Also, you know someone will be late ... if not the wedding party, then the priest. :-)
Our rehearsal was at 5, with dinner following at 6. A few members of our wedding party were stuck in traffic, so we definitely started late. After we got moving, it really only took 20 minutes.
We're having ours at 5pm, dinner at 6:30 pm. Our restaurant is right down the street also! I know people will be late considering that the rehearsal is on a Thursday, and most of the wedding party is about 1.5 hours away. We're hoping that the rehearsal is an hour.
We planned for an hour and needed it. Our priest cancelled at the last minute (he left the priesthood) and we needed that time to meet with the new priest and go through the ceremony and our choice of readings, etc. Crazy, I never thought it would happen or that we would need an hour but I'm glad that we scheduled for an hour.
Our rehearsal ran about 30 minutes. It all depends on how cooperative everyone is, and if they show up on time.
Our rehearsal started at 6 and our rehearsal dinner started at 7PM and even though we did not take up that much time it was nice to have the buffer!
The last wedding I was in the rehearsal took a little over an hour actually. It got started right on time but the priest went through everything. The couple planned the dinner to start at 7 (the rehearsal started st 6) so we were all late to the dinner. I would give yourself the extra time.

How long should a catholic wedding rehearsal last?
Our church is only 2 minutes from where we'll be holding the rehearsal dinner, but now I'm worried that scheduling a 7pm meal is too close to a 630pm rehearsal time. And our priest's secretary is on vacation until after our wedding, so I can't ask anyone - should have remembered to before!
Anyone have any experience/remember how long theirs took?
