In my experience it took about 15 minutes for the rings to go full circle with about 55-60 ppl.

If you want it to go around faster then only have either immediate family or the first two rows do the ring warming.

I’m not so sure I have the answer to your question and am definitely interested in other’s responses, but I can let you know how it goes with ours. We are having a small wedding–about 40 people and I’m hoping time-wise that we don’t run into a problem. We are starting ours right after the introduction–starting it off with a song by our musician which is about 4 minutes and then hopefully everyone will adjust to the idea by then. The plan is to then shift into readings and we’ll have our vows before we get to the ring ceremony so hopefully we end up getting through everyone in time. Not sure what your date is, but we have 20 days to go.

Just an update…our actually went very quick. We started it off at the beginning of the ceremony. We started with it and my parents went all the way back and around to end with his parents and even had time to go through either side of the bridal party and take our time untying the rings before the end of the piece of music we had selected. It was perfect timing. We had about 35-40 people just to give you an idea of timing.
