@LeonardLady:  Do you know what color the melee diamonds are? I recommend not going any higher than a J. This was recommended to me by another bee, MrsSkeletonKey, so I followed this rule of thumb for my e-ring and I think it turned out just right. Any lighter, and there would be too much contrast.

FB will be whiter, yes, so you should be fine! you can definitely go with lower colored sidestones to be safe, but at that size it’s hard to tell.

@LeonardLady:  here’s mine, it wasn’t enhanced–in fact it was coated pink, but the coating was rubbed off during setting. I don’t mind though, haha. the side diamonds are D or similar, and I can’t see any color difference. I’ve only had it for a few hours though, so maybe under different lighting it’ll show. or not!

@FutureDrAtkins:  YES! that is the very one. and yes! the coating was mostly rubbed off. there’s still some VERY LIGHT pink left, but I’m not getting too attached because it’ll probably wear off before I know it. I never even got to see her pink and set, she came back like this. I sent very specific care instructions but I guess mistakes happen! oh well, could be worse. I mean at least there’s no funky colors underneath!

My center stone is FB and I think the diamond side stones are like F color. My moissy graded at aK in color but I can only see warmth in certain lights.

@patchy:  Wow!! Did you let Schubach’s know? What did they have to say? What about the jeweler? Are you going to have them replace the stone or you’re not too worried about it? It looks beautiful in that setting, btw, I would just be sad that it’s not the pink I ordered!

@FutureDrAtkins:  it wasn’t schubach’s fault, they sent me a pink ring and the jeweler messed up. probably overlooked my instructions, or just accident. doesn’t matter, I’m not too worried. it’s very light pink now, and I like it like that, hehe. extremely subtle.

so you matched yours with J sides! it’s a really good match. always love the bottom of your ring, it’s almost like a butterfly!
