I am having a rustic wedding In the summ.  I didn’t want to just stick with my coral and turquoise wedding colors so I did bright bouquets and centerpieces and used succulents in everything! Top picture is centerpieces, middle my bouquet and the bridesmaids will be mini versions and the boys on the bottom. Sorry pics are so big cant resize at the moment.

My wedding was in March and I used seasonal flowers.  Roses, ranunculus, tulips, carnations, berries, and a little dusty miller.

Our flowers turned out lovely despite a few mishaps. Our florist was great, and did her best to make up for the delivery company sending the wrong flowers. The flowers I had chosen were Ivory Cream Patience Garden Roses, Peach Juliet Garden Roses, Cream Spray Roses, Burgundy Dahlias and Burgundy Scabiosa with Baby’s Breath, Seeded Eucalyptus and Queen Anne’s Lace as fillers. The roses delivered were all wrong (no garden roses, and the spray roses were peach instead of cream). Regardless, we used what we had and were really happy with the final look of it all.

Here are some photos…

@fron330:  Mine are silk. Here is my bouquet, bridesmaid. The centerpieces are provided by my venue for free and are also silk.

@Britt214:  I had actually pinned that bouquet picture a week ago and then I saw your centrepiece picture and had to pin that as well. Apparently we have the same taste in flowers 🙂

simple hydrangeas!  And both bouquets lasted over a week (my sister didn’t take hers back home with her).  I also had a simple arrangement for the church, no flowers at party.  The 2 bouquets cost $100, the church arrangement $100.

@tallierand:  haha gotta live Pinterest!!! The bridesmaids will just be mini versions of mine. I will tell you, I thought that because the centerpieces are simple they pull be rather inexpensive…they aren’t! A lot if the stuff in the bouquet is super pricey and succulents are incredibly expensive but so worth I.  I love the look of them!

@smcopp89:  where did you get the jars that were hanging in shepardsnhooks on your aisle?

@Britt214: We collected the hanging mason jars, and my husband’s brother made the aisle posts for them to hang on. They were one of my favorite details of our wedding!
