If you are having a traditional wedding, do the white cake and add fresh flowers and ribbon.  If you are more modern, do something in a different shape – add bling, crystals, etc.  I’m doing a Art Deco theme, so chose this one as inspiration.  I will be using cold, silver and copper with black trim to be more authentic to that period, but this is the perfect cake for me.

Needless to say, we had a tiny destination wedding on the beach. The first was my inspiration, second was actual. I was pretty bummed they forgot to add my toppers 🙁

Ours is an outdoor wedding in a very rustic location.  Here is my cake.  Simple, and we have succulents in every bouquet and centerpiece  so it goes with that.
