Me me me! 🙂 We’re planning to TTC in January – right now it’s looking like I’ll start AF a few days after New Years, so TTC soon after!

I’m getting off the pill at the end of December. The plan was to actively TTC in June, but DH and I have been talking about NTNP in January! Keep your fingers crossed that he decides to up the timeline! I’ve been waiting since we got married, so I would be so excited if DH is ready sooner.

@candy11:  Thanks!  We have actually been ready for a while, but I wanted to wait until after the wedding.  Our first child just turned 2 and we thought a good time amount passed to try for Baby #2.

The last we talked about it, we will stop preventing in January and see how things go.  I’ve been ready for a while, but I’m leaving it up to DH to decide when he wants to “pull the goalie”.  I have a feeling that for him, January seemed like so far away when we discussed it in October, so he may want to delay it. FX for January!!

DH wanted to start trying ASAP, but I wanted to be sure I made my honeymoon (beginning of next year) so I told him we needed to wait.

I’ve been on birth control for about 15 years. I have no recollection of what my cycle was before I went on them, so I’m stopping the pill in January so my body can figure itself out. When I picked up my Rx today I thought “wow, this will be my last month.”

Scary (I’m terrified of giving birth), but exciting.

We’ve been NTNP since June. We’ve been VERY casual about it though; I swear my fertile window is always, always the time when one of us is sick, away for work, and/or busy with something that prevents us from BD. November was the only month we had a legit chance of a BFP! We have been talking more about actually trying to TTC in the next few months though 🙂

@vanike:  I stopped taking BC pill last week after 10 years on it!! I was regular before and hoping I’ll be regular once again. Too soon to tell just now. I have been a little moody the last few days, and my sex drive is up some, so things are definitely changing! I picked up a pack last night because I had already ordered the refill. Figured I’d have it around for whenever haha. The thought of labor scares the bejeezus out of me as well! Really, more scary is the idea of being pregnant. It seems like such a foreign concept!
