I won’t have a shower, but I love checking up on our registries. With the wedding just two months away, people are slowly starting to buy us gifts. It just makes me very happy to see it when people are sharing their love and being generous to us.

I LOVE my Keurig.  Use it almost everyday.  Haven’t gone out for coffee in a long time.

I was so surprised to start seeing gifts bought! I want to be surprised when I recieve them, so I just log in to see the number of gifts bought, but I don’t scroll down, haha.

I wasn’t surprised at all at the shower… I didn’t really mind that the surprise was ruined. I still didn’t know who got me what. I mean, if you’re making a registry, you kind of already know what you’ll be getting!

I just logged on to my registry to add/delete some items and noticed a few items already purchased. Our invites went out a little over a week ago so I just have to force myself not to look until the wedding.  Its going to be really hard.

Did anyone else find opening gifts at the shower a little awkward? Like @redheadem said, you registered for the gifts so you kind of already know what’s coming…I went to a shower a month or 2 ago, and the bride seriously said “and it’s the towels that I wanted…” “and the plates that I wanted..” after every gift she opened! Well duuuuhhh I hope it’s what you wanted-you registered for it!!!! hahaha

My shower was a total surprise so I didn’t even have time to ‘registry stalk’.  Although I don’t think I would because it was nice not knowing what to expect when I opened each gift.

I just had my bachelorette/bridal shower last weekend and let me tell you. I stalked. My ultimate Holy moly moment was when i learned that someone bought our kitchenaid 13 cup food processor. Second bridal shower is next month and im excited to drink some tea and open some gifts. 🙂 That makes me sound materialistic, but I cant help my excitement of upgrading our modge podge collection of a kitchen.

Sigh. We didn’t really “need” to register, but did a small registry just in case it would be helpful and prevent random gifts, but I haven’t made a big deal out of it because I don’t want people to feel obligated. Now I kind of wish I hadn’t decided to be so subtle about it, I’m not sure anyone but my mom and my aunt know it exists. How’s the registry stalking going for any other September ladies who aren’t having a shower?
