I think that all sounds great! Except I would give a little more time for photos before the wedding... just in case! Good luck! It will be perfect :)
This is literally how my mind works, EVERY SINGLE DAY. I wish I could turn it off I am so OCD. Wake up at 7:00. Eat breakfast at 7:15. Get dressed by 7:30. Leave by 8:00. I mean, EVERY DAY!!!!! lol
SO with that in mind, I'm totally stressing the HELL out on how to make the wedding run smooth like you stated above. Timing is a really BIG deal. You want to make sure it goes smooth and everyone is in their place and things go off without a hitch. I am totally freaking out about the logistics and having time to take pictures. I want to celebrate and have fun but OH MY I want to make sure I have amazing pictures as well. I say a prayer that your day goes as smoothly as you have planned :)

Good Morning, WeddingBees!
OK...invites are about to be purchased and I need to get a real grip on a timeline for the wedding. Can you tell me your thoughts? It's a Sunday wedding and we're trying to get the big stuff in before 9:15, in case those who really have to get to work Monday can get home (the venue for the ceremony/reception is only 30 minutes from where 90% of guests will be arriving from)
Venue opens to bride and bridal party, makeup, hairstylist comes - 2 p.m. (hair will be braided so really, only makeup and getting into my dress to deal with)
Dressed by: 3:45 p.m.
Pictures and video with bridesmaids, parents, family members: 3:45 (groom will do the same on other side of venue -- far, far, away :)
Get ready to line up, find all the needed players and get ready to walk: 4:15
Ceremony: 4:15 PM - 4:45 PM - thought to give it a 15 min gap between wedding/cocktail hour in case we run late
Cocktail Hour: 5 PM - 6 p.m. - we're traditionalists and will do our photos together, and with our bridal party and family here
Reception: 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Bridal party and man/wife announced: 6:15 p.m.
First dance: 6:20 p.m.
First course, toast and best man speech: 6:30
Dance floor offically opens: 6:45/7 p.m.
Dinner is served, speeches: 7 p.m.
Combined father/daughter, son/mother dance: my father and fiancee's mother are deceased so we'll honor them with a special dance with my mother, his father: 7:30
Band is back up and we're dancing: 7:45
Cut the cake - back to dancing!: 8:30 p.m.
Eat cake, garter toss/boquet contest (we don't have enough single ladies coming, so we're asking all the married couples on the floor to come out -- the longest married/standing wins): 8:45
Keep Dancing: 9 - 9:45 p.m.
Grand exit: 9:45
Show's over, people: 10 p.m.
