Sign me up!! I’m 5,7″ and I got down to 129#s and looked pretty damn good. It’s only been 31 days and I’ve already gained a solid inch around my gut and my inner glutton has let herself out of the cage! Its winter (almost) and all my body wants is FOOD! Anyway, I’m bound and determined to nip this in the bud NOW.

That meal replacement- I’m about to order some. Have you tried the chocolate?? I’m waffling back and forth since I would use it to make a banana shake and who doesn’t like chocolate? LMK your opinion

@MrsSkeletonKey:  I am so in! I went from 137 to 128 for the wedding, and packed it all back on in two months after the wedding. I didn’t go back to eating like crap, but I definitely wasn’t strict with myself anymore and it came back so fast. Hubs and I started doing p90x 6 weeks ago, and while I haven’t lost weight, I’ve definitely gotten more toned, and I hope the pounds start melting off soon. Sigh

I got pregnant after the wedding! So I’ve gained 10lbs in the last 24 weeks.

It breaks my heart to see my highest weight since November of last year! And to KNOW it’s only going to get worse!

After the baby’s born, I’ll be back!

Yes have the same problem. I’m 5,7 and got down to 127 pounds for the wedding (lost 14 pounds). I felt awsome and lean. Now I am back up to 136 in a matter of months. Its weird how you go from watching what you eat to taking little liberties (I guess it all adds up). I am back on my wedding diet..sigh. Went back to the gym and I am hobbling a long the office today.

@MrsSkeletonKey:  I lost about 60 pounds in college doing the South Beach Diet, so I’m going back to eating more lean protein and whole grains. I’ve really always eaten that way, but I’m trying to be more strict and not cheat so much. Since the wedding I’ve had my fair share of cheat days…not to mention buckets of sangria this summer!

@MrsSkeletonKey:  ok!! Consider this the start of our motivation! I actually had to take a 1.5 month hiatus from intense cardio because my endocrinologist increased my Levothyroxine by 40 mcg – that stuff wrecks havoc on your cardiovascular system and it takes a while to acclimate. I was able to finish strong today for the first time in like 2 months.. Now, if I can just get my eating habits in check and fall back into my fitness habbits I should hopefully be able to get this under control, LOL!

@whitums:  isn’t that crazy how your body just wants to go right back to prefit!? My wk out partner and I were talking about it.. You take 2 weeks off and you are set back like 2 months worth of hard work and discipline!

@Starling13:  Ugh yes! I think it’s especially true when you’re super strict with the initial weightloss. I didn’t starve myself or anything, but I did do two three-day juice cleanses over about 4 months and then was super strict with carbs, alcohol, etc. Even just adding back more whole grains, allowing myself wine here and there, and having treats a couple of times a week really made it all pack on so fast. I’ve been at the p90x thing for 6 weeks now with no weight change, and that’s killing me. It’s a lot of work, and while I’ll be down a couple pounds here and there, it just comes back on a few weeks later. So frustrating!

Count me in, too!! I’ve gained like 20 pounds in the past 4 months, ever since getting married (ughhhhh) which is quite a lot on a 5’5 person. And I fit in like nothing in my closet. Probably since I went from like a 2 to a 10. Blah.

Needless to say, Today I started the Whole30 and am also starting doing Jillian Michales 30 Day Shred, along with some pilates and yoga. Took some very upsetting and also motivating sets of measurements and before pictures… Can’t wait to see the change after a month!

@MrsSkeletonKey:  oh man, I totally need this. Tomorrow is 2 months since our wedding and I haven’t exercised ONCE! (Besides fun hikes etc.) I’ve been eating and drinking up a storm too, which I totally needed for a week or two… But not months.  I went from 126 to 117 (5’5″) for the wedding and now I’m back to 123 or so. I have a petite frame so I can definitely feel those extra lbs.

Going for a run at lunch tomorrow… you heard it here first!

Please sign me up (although my family ceremony is 2 weeks away). Leaving Japan + imigration + grad school = 25 pounds in 3 months, after I worked so hard to lose weight. I want to get to healthy BMI
