I’ve heard bouncing on an exercise ball can help. Unfortunately I think they tend to stay in until they are ready to come out, but I’d imagine the baby will arrive within the week.

Good for her for having a home birth. I hope she has a wonderful experience.

I dont think theres many things to do to help. I tried ALL of the things you listed up there and still had to be induced. my lil girl was NOT coming out on her own haha. Like @mrstilly said… they come when they’re ready!

Ugh, my oldest was three and a half weeks past her due date. I tried castor oil, bowling, spicy foods, walks, exercise ball…no luck.

I hope things pick up for her.

I just wanted to say that my sister really wanted a home birth as well, it was extremely important to her. She ended up having to be induced, and she isn’t really devastated or anything, just happy my little niece came out safely 🙂

I’ve heard pregnancy acupuncture helps…I don’t know how your friend feels about that though and I don’t think it’s medically covered so it could potentially be expensive…

IDK but I went swimming the day before DS was born and a co-worker also had the same experience…If she tries it let me know if it works!

I’m sure her midwife has been having her drink Red Raspberry Leaf Tea.  I’ve heard that may help 🙂

Lots of walks too.  She should go for a hike today.

Have you tried the pressure points? I know one person that says they had results from this. My masseuse says that you can start them at 36 weeks.

Heres a link on youtube.com
