Let's hear it–what did you do for bridal party gifts?

Here’s what I’m doing for mine:

  • Totebags – custom made from T-shirts representing things we’ve done together (club shirts from high school and college, since I’ve known all of my BM’s since high school).
  • Necklaces to wear for the wedding
  • Pashminas in case they get cold at the reception
  • I paid for their shoes and am also throwing in some flip flops to wear at the reception

Depending on budget, I may add some nail polish and/or a diamond candle into the bags.

They all got Hangers with their names on them (the only “classic” BM thing I did). Then I just shopped for each like I would for their birthdays/Christmas. One got earrings as she’s an earring fanatic, one got a fancy cashmere pashmina because she’s a fashionista, etc.

I paid for their dresses, and I also got them each hangers on Etsy with their names written in wire. I’m planning on getting them robes to wear to get ready in, and each a piece of jewelry that fits their style. I want to do more, but I have to keep myself in check because I’m starting to go broke lol.

I am getting them:

-Shortie sets from Plum Pretty Sugar in a color they each would like.  Wanted something different than robes and they are cheaper than the robes.  http://store.plumprettysugar.com/shortie-sets/

-Jewelry dishes with the first letter of their name https://www.etsy.com/transaction/207282762

-I’m also paying for hair or makeup.

I’ll probably do something more for my MOH.  I think it’s great when they can use the gifts again!

I bought them cute earrings (the only real wedding related item, but could easily be worn again), makeup bags (not matching, according to each person’s style), a nice Stila lipstick palatte, and an Eco tools lipstick brush.  I think everyone liked their gifts- hopefully! 🙂

I got my girls wooden hangers with their names on them and robes to wear for getting ready. The robes looked so awesome for our getting ready pictures!

I made them their jewelry so far and I plan to get them robes for getting ready in because I think that looks really nice and is a comfy thing to hang out in during the day getting ready. I hope they like it and it’s enough! We are on a budget but my girls are very important to me!

We also need to get something for my fiance’s bro….gotta think on that one!

bleusteel:  Since I paid for the girls’ dresses, pashminas, hair and make up (they just paid for their shoes) I am going to buy them each a nice pair of earrings that they can wear on the day and afterwards. FI is getting the guys a nice tie for the day and paying for a night out at bars.
