.... and here is a better picture of my ring. How impossible is it to get a good picture of our diamonds? I actually took this picture in the car while sun was shining on my finger! I think I got a good shot, finally.
It's a cushion cut, my fiance designed it himself, I love it!

Such a sizeable rock looks even larger on your slender fingers! I think my pinky is barely smaller than a size 5, haha! A girl can dream...too bad I can't make my fingers skinnier!

Here is mine. I asked for nothing big but different so I could wear it at work. I love it cause the sides of the main diamond is held on the top and bottom and the sides are open!

It's neat to see all the variety and how each one fits the different personalities.
Here's my ring. It's a claddaugh, the traditional Irish ring (my dad's family is part Irish, but very much Irish at heart). The heart represents love, the hands represent friendship, and the crown represents loyalty. It's the engagement ring I dreamed of since I was like 13 (I'd shared that with a couple of my friends and they conveniently passed on the message to my fiance when he was looking for a ring). I didn't want something big or flashy, just meaningful, so it's perfect!

Here is mine - a lot like Bellenga's if I am not mistaken! Though maybe not quite as chunky. :-) Hopefully sometime soon I'll get some photos with cool backgrounds but for now this is one of the best photos I have - gotta love that macro setting!
Here is mine. FI picked it out all by himself! I Love it! It is actually my e-ring and wedding ring all in one!! Love that I don't or won't have to have it soldered together since it looks like 3 rings. Did I mention that I Love it!!!!

I just love the simple design of the one I've picked out..and it's only a little chunky b/c we're an older (somewhat) couple.

Well Bellenga, clearly you have very good taste! My fiance basically chose it on his own with just a few pointers from my friend and now-MOH. I can't get over how perfect it really is - its profile, its overall proportions and shape, it's just so beautiful. It's just the right mix of traditional and a little unique. :-)

@Vegasbaby The band on your E-ring looks just like my wedding band :) Very pretty!
Here is my sapphire engagement ring. The wedding band matches has the same engraving with small diamonds. I helped my fiance create the ring--I would have love whatever he chose, but when we went to pick out a ring he definitely would have gotten me a diamond center stone--which is great, but I prefer the centerpiece to have some color. I love this ring and almost a year later I still find myself staring at my left hand :)

Emeralds are my birthstone, and I've alway loved them..I have had my dream ring pretty much designed for years, (before I even had a boyfriend, hehe). Plus, we're getting married in May, and my dress has green along the top and the bottom (and a green corset back). So...this is my ring!
