I'm here and I'm trying! I have little sticky notes all over my desk at work reminding me that there are 67 days until my wedding - and I would love to lose 10 pounds before then!
I've been hovering and not losing anything - procrastinating and now I have two months give or take to go. I lost my first three pounds in FOREVER this last week. I know how you feel, it'd be great to have someone remind you waht your goal is. Luckily, I have a great trainer I work with and I'm accountable to, but if you need a buddy I'm here.
I've also documented my weightloss - or lack of it - on my blog: http://snowflakeswedding.blogspot.com/
Email me if you need more direct contact/support. Good luck!
Ladies - I'll tell you right now - it's ALL about weight watchers!! That's what I'm doing, along with a trainer, and it definitely is managable. And I have the WORST motivation skills in the world. I find that even reading the WW website boards help a TON.
Somebody please put my workout clothes on me and strap me to the treadmill for 60 minutes
It's definitely helpful to at least know that there are people out there wrestling with the same things as you are. I visited the wedding site for the first time since we picked it out three months ago and stood exactly where I'll stand for the ceremony..I looked at my body and thought, "No. There's no way." It re-motivated me a TON. Just keep envisioning that day every time you pick up a donut/pass by a Taco Bell/are offered seconds for dinner. Plus, you might end up developing really great habits that are vital for living longer and better. :)
it did it for me when, at my last fitting, i could barely breathe in my dress.
i got the 30Day Shred DVD and am now trying it out, and also packing my own lunches to work so i eat and snack healthy!
you can do it!!!
My butt got kicked in boot camp on monday! I have started a 3 day a week class and can hardly move from the first one...today's is going to be brutal!
I am so here to encourage other bees, and let them encourage me!
How about we set weekly goals, maybe we will leave the fitness to ourselves but one thing I know thats hard is my nutrition while working out.
How about a nutrition challenge. Any one up for it?
Maybe this week lets try to eat 2-3 servings a day of green veggies.
Lets write down what we ate, keep track of it and report back!
I have 11 months and 35 pounds to lose
and really, I'd like to have it gone by January so I can dress shop. Can we all do it? Well, of course we can! I've lost a little over 100 pounds (of course 35 of it found me again ugh!) so I know that it *can* be done, I just need to do it. To give myself an extra kick in the pants, I've signed up with a personal trainer. Although, I like working out, it's my eating that can be *vastly* improved.
I'm totally up for a nutrition challenge!

Alright ladies.....i would like to say....i didnt eat ANY dessert today! now for me thats pretty phenomenal, as icecream and i have an intimate relationship.
2-3 veggies servings...easy peezy we can do this ladies!
ive really tried to keep a water bottle with me throughout the day today, and i think it helps! half the time im not hungry, i just like to munch when im bored, but a pack of gum and some carrot sticks solved it.
one day down 58 to go
oh and one more thing,
today i talked to one of my long distance BM's and she said she had been losing weight....now i love my girls to death-but if thats not motivation i dont know what is!
if my bridesmaids are going to be looking fabulous and fit...i cant even imagine pictures of me being the lazy one with the flubby arms!
Go go, gurl!
If you need a sweet fix, try the low-fat/fat-free chocolate puddings (yes, those kids eat), or fat-free sorbets, or even dark chocolate. They still contain calories though!
Remember to read the labels of the food you buy / eat!
Choose healthy!
Less calories ingested + More activity = Weight loss!!
Today was a bad day for me. I got a stomach bug last night so the food today was pretty much whatever I could stomach! Back on the bandwagon tomorrow...
you know i think one of the worst mistakes i make is on those bad days. once i cave and eat a sinfully good snack, i convince myself the whole day is a bust and continue to binge for the next 8 hours!
unfortunately thats not how it works! every calorie counts, so try not to get down on yourself for a mishap here and there, just eat extra healthy at your next sitting!
mmmmm ate a bunch of my favorite greens yesterday! broccoli, spinich and brussel sprouts - 3 servings yesterday girls
Oh and also the biggest butt kicking ever yesterday at bootcamp! uggh!

hey ladies,
so like many of you, i am in this whole wedding planning thing alone, and on top of it all my FI and all of my BM's are miles and miles away.
this leaves me with no one as a work out buddy, no one to give me a hard time when i sneak down for the pint of icecream in the middles of the night (come on we ALL do it), and no one to tell me to get my but moving and STOP procrastinating....for god sakes ive only got two months to get in the BEST shape of my life!
i really really want to look fabulous, but i have no self control and i think a huge part of that is having no one to talk to about it with.
so i am ofically calling all wedding bees anyone want to partner up and get in shape?
we dont need to all be on the same work out routine or diet, just someone to check in with, someone to report back to so ill be less likely to cave etc etc.
heck when i get really desperate itd be great to have a texting buddy to convince me out of it....
anyone interested?
in the meantime im going to revel in my failure of just eating an entire sleeve of oreos...which i dont even like!
