Our Ceremony and Reception are at the San Diego Botanic Garden
Ceremony:

Reception:

Gorgeous venues, ladies! Mine was The Coconut Palm Inn, Tavernier, FL (www.coconutpalminn.com)

Here's our ceremony space at the venue:

Here was the mezzanine where we had our cocktail hour

The recpetion space

and the VIP lounge

Wow, these are some impressive (and beautiful) venues! Here's ours:

Heinous carpeting in one room, but I can overlook that for the price (VERY reasonable) and the fact that we'll have the whole house to ourselves, including kitchen, bar, billiards room, and bridal suite!
So much fun looking at all of the awesome venues! No wonder we all have such a hard time deciding!
Here was our ceremony venue...The Jewel Box in Forest Park, St. Louis:
And the reception venue...Old Hickory Golf Club, St.Louis:
This is our #1 choice, we are still working out the details. It's called the Hauberg Center, it is a mansion that was built in the 1920's and donated to the city of Rock Island several years ago. We will probably have the wedding outdoors (if we switch to May, instead of November, which we are talking about right now) Otherwise, the pic that shows all the chairs is the ballroom in the house and we would have our reception there, regardless. It is very art deco and gorgeous on the inside and I love it.

@MzMarzipan It's at the Miramonte in Palm Desert California! I cannot wait!
@Ktmcp5899: Ah, Palm Desert! I used to live in Palm Springs. That's why it looked so familiar! Oh, are you getting married this JUNE?? Be prepared for some heat! (I'm sure you already know!)
@MzMarzipan Oh yes we are ready for it...we have been living in Wisconsin for the last year and will take the heat with a smile....plus it is the ONLY time that worked for our schedule. :)
Your venue is beautifull congrats!
My wedding will be at the Bass Performance Hall. Not a wedding venue typically but still gorgeous!!!
Here are a few pieced together pictures of the ceremony site. It is too tall to get in one shot but so gorgeous when you are there! (the first picture is of mr hedgie and the manager measuring for where our chuppah will go... and the other two are pictures are just slowly looking higher to show the architecture.)

This is our reception hall ( even the downlighting color we will be using! The pink picture was set up for a ceremony but it just really shoed off some more of the 2 story architecture)

Oh and a better picture of the ceremony site... but with some strangers infront of it! lol

Can you tell I am in love with our venue yet?
Here's the ceremony cite at Ault Park Rose Garden:

Okay the only picture online is TINY but here's the reception site at the Cincinnati Club:

Ceremony: The Roberts Orpheum Theatre

We actually raised the curtain and had cocktails on the stage of the theatre.
Reception: The Mayfair Room at The Roberts Mayfair Hotel

I'm getting married at the Hartley Botanica in Somis, California. Pictures do not do it justice! I am soooo excited!

here is my resort i am getting married at and the second pic is what the ceremony set up will look like!

@Ktmcp5899: Thanks! So is yours! Are you from CA, or just having a destination wedding? What time of day are you doing it? That time of year it can be in the 90s after dark! But, as everyone always says, it's a dry heat!
@GardenBride: Another Ventura County bride! Congrats! Oh, and your wedding is coming up soon!
This is mine, I knew that I wanted it as soon as I saw it.
Ceremony Area

Staircase (I always wanted to come down a staircase, hehe)

Reception area (I will have round tables, the room will be lit all with candles, and will be set up completely differently)

And this is what you see off the balcony outside of the reception area.

Such a beautiful variety of venues, ladies! I love the historical references, as well as the ethereal gardens and ceremony settings among trees. Blissful! Here is our venue in California's gorgeous wine country:
This is the winery tasting room building itself:

Here is outside the event hall showing the large lawn area to the right. We'll set up bocce ball and large scale chess/checkers:

We'll hang heraldry banners from the rafters for our Renaissance theme, banquet and king's tables all around with space to dance in the middle:

This is the driveway leading up to the venue during spring time, all the cherry blossoms amongst the olive trees:

The event hall at night with all the pretty twinkle lights and cozy outdoor furniture for everyone to relax:

OVE love our venue. It's special to us too because it's where my parents and aunt and uncle had their receptions.

@superplannerbee:Oh I found more pictures of my venue online.
