Mine is a simple yellow gold solitare and I love it.
Here's mine. It's a little hard to tell in this picture, but the e-ring band is yellow gold as well as the wedding band.

Here's mine, I didn't think I would want yellow gold, but now I couldn't imagine anything else!

Here's a few photos of my e-ring! My fiance purchased it without me, and selected yellow gold. I, myself, have almost all white gold or silver jewelry, so I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first. 
But, now that it's been a few months, I'm starting to love it! Gold is classic and never truly goes out of fashion. Even though it isn't very popular in the U.S., I read that in London, Paris, and Milan, it is all the rage! I do hope this metal can make a comeback!
Here is mind I love it!!1 Can't wait to add the other half of it on our special day.
