I am doing the same bustle as Mrs Nachos! I HATE HATE the "normal" bustles

My dress is a very similar cut to Mrs. Nachos and I'm also doing her bustle!
Mine is a little like this one, which the three points, but it looks more like 5 because there are 4 more buttons underneath.
Mrs. Nachos bustle is fab!

She's just holding it up in this picture, but this is the only gown I've ever loved the american bustle on! The one I see this gown with usually has this crazy 5 point bustle that I dont like but I'm hoping the one point holds it!
@coffeekitty: Did you ask for more buttons underneath? That sounds like a good way to secure it more.

Thank goodness for bustles, eh?! My 4 point bustle allowed me to dance the night away! 
I don't know what my bustle is called lol I just held it up and told the seamstress where to put it!

arenyth and I have the same dress, and yes, I did the American bustle because if I did the French bustle, it will look like I'm pooping flowers. haha!

@JennM21: Oh I'd love to see how yours came out! I haven't seen anyone do it with the overbustle in pictures yet. I feel the same way about the french! Just makes a mess :P

@Ms. Caniche: Is this Jinny's Bridal in Huntingotn Beach?? I got my dress here too and was thinking "Hey that room looks familiar...."
Here is mine...it's a 3-point American bustle. never thought I'd want something so simple but the dress really warrants this type of bustle.
@mishelleez: I just ran into this post and was all, "hey, there's a big ole picture of me!" Too funny. I loved my bustle and it was really easy for my friend to put up on the wedding day with no practice runs beforehand. I'm happy so many people are doing the same :)
Oh wow... I didn't realize there was a lot of variations with a bustle. I thought they were only pinned at the booty. 
Mine is a 3 pt french bustle but the layers hide it. It turned out really nice. 2nd pic is for comparison.

I usually don't like the look of bustles but I know they have to be done more than likely and I happen to actually like how mine will look! I have the same dress and mine will look similar, it will look a little cleaner but you get the gist!
@Ms. Caniche: & @KIKI82: LOL, I recognized the room from both of your posts in this and another thread :) I went there too but didn't get my dress there.

@mishelleez: I really don't get how this bustle works. The dress doesn't look bustled to me. Is it just bustled on the side where the brooch is?
@shaunna: Its completely inside the dress so you cant see it from the outside!
I had a 6 point french bustle. I was a little unsure how it would work with the assymetrical ruffles but I think it turned out well.
The 1st picture is of the train un bustled and the 2nd picture is it bustled during our 1st dance. (Sorry no professional pictures yet.)

@shaunna: it really doesn't look bustled. i think that is the beauty of it. it's tucked under in a way that it looks natural.
