Hello Lovely Bees!!!
Since there is a lot of hype over the size of engagement rings these days, and we are seeing more and more of them 1 carat and over, let's all maravel in our beauties that don't make the 1 carat cut, but neither do they need to! My fiance's family are quite materialistic, and when they saw my ring, they openly were looking for the other half. Then one of the cousins got engaged and because her ring was a 1 carat solitaire they approved of that and ooohed and ahhhed over it while with mine they simply said "that's nice" or "pretty". or "cute". Oh and I did get one person who actually chuckled and said "that's it??". So for you Bees out there that are proud of your dainty and elegant rings like I am of mine...(my mother helped my fiance pick it out =D) lets show the 1 carateers that beauty comes in small packages too!! :)
Mine is a .51 carat weight in total. Simple Cell phone pictures, no fancy equipment or lighting. Pictures don't do it justice or show it's brilliance like it does in real life unfortunately.

Per the poll, I voted ".75 ctw or over". My center stone is .61 ct, and the small diamonds in the halo are .22 ctw.
@abbyful: LOVE your ring and OMG love the wedding band! That's my birthstone and I'm a huge fan of mixing stones with diamonds on the band!
@AlmostVangor - Thanks! Though I must give credit to my FI for the wedding band. When we went to look at bands, he pointed it out because I love green. I would have never thought to try it on!
Mine is a 5mm blue sapphire (about 0.45 diamond carrats) I think its beautiful!
my center is .40 and the TCW is .60 ^_^

peachbaby4008 my ring was setting with ordered diamonds. So you can easily get the setting at Peoples or Mappins or Zales, and order the type of diamonds you want, according to the four C's, including the size carat :) Good luck sweetie I'm sure whatever your wonderful man gets you is going to be beautiful, as all these rings and symbols of love and commitment are!!! :)
Beautiful rings ladies! Mine is either .62 or .67 I always mix it up. And I couldn't be more happy with it. Would I have accepted a larger diamond? Yes. Would I have accepted a smaller diamond? Yes. I'm just thrilled to marry my best friend!

Here is mine! :-) Its under half a carat, we (hubby & I) was going to get a 1/2 carat princess cut but got this one instead. The marquise cut looked the same size as the 1/2 carat & I feel in love with it! :-) Oh & ladies all of your rings are GORGEOUS show em of proudly!!!!!
Beautiful rings ladies!!!! my center stone was my FI grandmothers :) its .35 and the halo is .25 for a total of .6, I LOVE my ring and I love that my FMIL took her mothers ring off her hand to give to me, My FI knew that the ring wasn't my style and got it reset :)

I GUSH over all these rings ladies & LOVE post like this!!!!! :-) I have some new shots to add & figured this is the place that I won't get on peoples nerves with it. lol I never stated the actual carat weight above in my other post. Its 1/5th carat so around .20 & I love it!!!!!!! :-)
My e-ring total carat weight is 1/3 ct. and with the wedding band is 1/2 ct. I'm SO happy that I've found others who like their smaller rings, helps me be more appreciative. This ring set is one of my FI's grandmother's sets that she got for an anniversary. I already feel like I'm family.
