Just curious to see what great dresses all you lovely bees found!
I haven't bought it yet, but I am loving this dress --

$34.50 from Charlotte Russe!
My wedding dress is lace, too, and it's the kind of dress I would want to wear with sandals all summer anyway. It doesn't look as short in person.
@Amaryllis:I love, love, love lace! I can't tell you how many wedding dresses with lace I tried on before I realized it just didn't suit my body the way I wanted it to. SO awesome that it's only 35 bucks too!
@pengoala: That blue is stunning! It compliments your hair and skin tone nicely. :o)
I bought this dress almost 4-5 years ago, but love it as it is super light & comfortable sun dress, I think I spent $15 on it at some random shop in the mall while they were having a sale (it was regularly ~$30)
And just to clarify, I am NOT being anti-Semitic or joking around about Hitler, I am mid stumble/fall when this picture was taken, you can thank my partner for catching my 'grace' on digital media

@missmouse29: I love those boots too! And I really liked your *disclaimer.
I had been searching for a cream-colored dress to wear to the rehearsal, but I fell in love with this lace dress and bought it yesterday when I went to Nordstrom.
I looked high and low for a great rehearsal dinner dress... and then decided to go with something less conventional... I went on spreadshirt.com and made t-shirts for the bridal party and the family, as well as for DH and me, and we all wore them for the rehearsal and the dinner cruise afterward on Boston Harbor:
I got another Charlotte Russe dress, mine was $22 on sale and I can't wait to wear it! I was actually debating between wearing it at the rehearsal dinner or else the after party (with the option of changing during the reception if I got hot).
ahaha thanks, better safe than sorry right? Those are my birthday boots! I love them,, but do not get to wear them enough!
@Miss OBG: that dress is adorable!
I got my dress from good old Marshalls (but its Calvin Klein :-))

@missmouse29: Ummm, ALWAYS! It's gotten a little touchy around the hive lately
@PitBulLover:I love the shape of that dress! I've always thought halter necklines are so pretty. (I like how it has a touch of white too)
@Mrs.tobe: Thanks! I wish I had the picture of the back of it because it was crossed in the back and I loved it! I am really flat chested and I think halters help with that issue
@7SEVENJ9: I would honestly love to do something like that! But the girlie in me wants another dress....ohhhh I'm so baddddd!
@PitBulLover: I'm not so flat, but I always joke about having "man shoulders" ...I feel like a halter kind of breaks that up for me. (and wouldn't you know...my wedding dress is strapless, go figure!)
@PitBulLover: I saw that dress when I was getting the dress for my shower and I wanted to try it on as a possibility but they didn't have my size (but I ended up with a different Calvin Klein dress). Gorgeous!
I wore this to my rehearsal:
It's actually the same dress that my bridesmaids wore for the wedding but their's were red and mine had the fun black and white pattern.
@Miss OBG: LOVE your dress. Searched their website, nowhere to be found. I'm guessing you bought it a while ago? Tear.
@Mrs.KMM: Oh that's sort of similar to my BM dresses! (style not color)
I am in LOVE with this dress, but it was a little more than I was hoping to pay, and I need to get my booty in shape so i can totally rock-it-out! PLUS I'd have to order it online, not trying on. They do have a return policy, but it' kind of a hassle for me...
This is what I'm wearing to our engagement party. Our rehearsal dinner is going to be really casual and low-key - so I thought I'd share the more dressy outfit.

@Nola: Ohhhh I really like!
@R.Elliott: Very pretty!
I just bought this dress yesterday from White House Black Market for the rehearsal dinner. I'm replacing the belt with the one in the second photo.

@iRun2004: I know, right?! I found it on www.unique-vintage.com thanks to fellow bee tksjewelry!
I so want to post mine, but I haven't finished making it yet, so here is a picture of the pattern. I am making the one shown in red with the black lace overlay. Mine is ivory with a Chantilly lace overlay. I will post the real picture when I get it finished :-)

They are all so pretty!
@noritake22:I wish I had enough talent to make my own!
Keep 'em coming ladies!
Thanks for starting this thread! I am loving all the dresses and getting some good ideas!
@Mrs.KMM: Its 100% cotton so its great in summer but I love your dress - where did you get it?
@R.Elliott: that dress is adorable!
Here was mine! It was the red one. I bought it at H&M for $11. Woo-hoo! I wore it with a black floral belt and black velvet pumps.
I wore this for the ceremony rehearsal and the Chinese dress for our dinner/tea ceremony that evening.
