Happy: that the new Jay Leno show was actually funny! And Conan is on right now, that's always a reason to smile!
Haha krissycake, I'm watching Conan right now too! But the Kanye West thing on Jay was kinda awkward...
It will be a year since my wedding in 6 days! And to celebrate we leave on Wednesday for an 8 day stay in Punta Cana! Plus, I just found out this weekend I'm going to be an aunt again!
I had a good start to my day because I woke up to fiance kisses, and then fully woke up with a little Twister. :p
TMI, prolly, but that was my good thing of the day!
I'm happy coz I finally bought my honeymoon bikini and I get to wear it in a month today! Oh, and coz I found a gourmet cupcake store near work.
i'm a little more than a month away! can't wait until the day gets here!
I can't sleep so that does not make me happy (it's 4.30am) - but i signed a new client today as well as another one I really wanted last week. Whoo-hoo!
My hubby and I finally cleaned out our walk in closet last night (well most of it) and have 8 grocery bags full of clothes to give to goodwill :) Not bad and I got him to get rid of his t-shirt with rainbow colored fish on it. Yesssssss!
In less than 3 weeks, I get to see FI (we're long distance) and celebrate our anniversary!
Thank the Lord for this post, especially after those bride/groom death stories in the news!
I'm defending my Master's thesis on Friday, that will be one HUGE weight of my shoulders!
@j_nicolle -- i know, right!? it was like jay was talking to a kid. well, i guess that's how he SHOULD be treated, with his child-like behavior!!
we're looking at a model home tonight! i'm excited that we have decided to go with a new construction :)

I just back back into town after 5 days away from my kids, my FI and Weddingbee... I'm baaaaaaack! :)

My FI is feeling much better today, he at least sat up and talked this morning. Then I hit him with more DayQuil and now he's back asleep. At least he didn't remember me shoving the NyQuil down his throat last night. I seriously thought he was going to spit it back out in my face!
My STD's are designed (going to vistaprint today!) my secret drawing is done (will post it on my blog this week!) and I got paid today and paid my bills!
Sadness is of course Patrick Swayze, a medical annoyance, and my stupid credit card that I can only pay minimums on and doesn't go down enough :( [unemployment will do that to you, i guess- I have a job now but the few months I didn't really killed us!]
So I say the good outweighs the bad today! LOL 50 ft I love your happy things! And Mrs Brad I am JEALOUS of your cupcakes.
Another happiness- it's PUMPKIN SEASON! Making some pumpkinbread this week for sure! It's great with a few mini choc chips in the batter, then toast the slice and put a dab of vanilla ice cream on it... yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
My FI was working by my house this morning, so he met me at home and I got to have breakfast with him, that started my day off so nice it was so fun to see him before I left for work, and to know he had some good food in him to start the day!!!
only 10 more days till I marry the man of my dreams:) And on sunday he is being baptized so that is a huge THANK YOU LORD:) It is easy to let the bad things get you down and believe me our life seems to be more full of bad than good, but we have both really just come to the realization that it is how we let it affect us that makes it worse or bareable. Still can suck sometimes:) But together we will make it through:)
Fiance and I had a bit of a tiff last night, but we communicated really well and it worked out great...I am so thankful for our conflict resolution skills and how willing my fiance is to listen and fix what's wrong...it makes me really hopeful that my marriage will be a solid one where we can communicate openly and work through problems together. Sorry for the psychobabble, but it makes me so happy to see resolving things so nicely!

... because today seems to be like a really depressing day. I've seen quite a few sad posts on the boards today (hugs panda!), and with those two bride/groom death stories, I think we could all use a little bit of cheering up. Feel free to list your bad if you need to get it out (my aunt filled for divorce today, my cousin has to get an induced abortion tomorrow because the baby has severe problems, and my FI is now really sick... like wouldn't wake up for dinner sick).
Any one have any good news/funny stories/things they are thankful for to share? (Right now mine are my aunt being able to escape an emotionally abusive relationship, my strong family, and the makers of NyQuil). Yours?
