I was looking through photographs tonight and I was completely admiring a huge project that he had to do in ceramics class. He ended up making an adorable turtle. Isn’t it awesome?!? So, what is something you want to boast about your SO?

@panterapeach: That is love! 🙂 Lucky you.
My fiance is super about making dinner when he knows I’ve had a long day and he’s awfully sweet about wanting to surprise me “just because.”

My husband makes dinner for me every night – I never have to worry about cooking! 🙂

I love boasting about FI!
He’s overcome some serious adversity to become of the most successful people I know. When he was 7 he taught himself how to program computer applications. Given they were nothing fancy but c’mon, 7 years old! He continued to learn new techniques and partnered with some well known mobile platform developers in high school to create some of the first mobile applications. Infact, one of the programs that he created was sold to a well known developer for a few thousand dollars (when you’re 15 years old thats ALOT of money). That developer turned around and made MILLIONS off of FI’s app!
After school he started a number of software companies. Some didn’t really pan out but one stuck. He is the co-owner of a well known Mac and iPhone development company. FI was actually the developer who made it possible for iPhones to run 3rd party applications (basically, he created the first app store before Apple allowed it). He’s been published in a number of mac programming books and has really made a name for himself. I’m so proud of him!
I could go on but I think thats enough boasting for now. I love my man!
ETA: Lol, I guess you meant a different kind of boasting. He did a good amount of cleaning today while I was at a bridal show with my mom. Poor guys sick too!

I work part time nights, so my hunny cleans while I am at work so I can come home to a clean house. He also just finished redoing our basement. Built a fence for our backyard and a deck. These a just the fews things he has done recently. I could go on and on about my jack of all trades. He can literally fix anything and prety much do anything—when he wants to lol.

@CaitMarae I meant any kind of boasting really. 🙂 and that’s so awesome!
My man also just finished up his associates which he has been working six years to finish. It’s just been a long road coming and now that he’s finished we can work on graduating with out bachelors after we get married.

SO just helped his mom’s b/f build a mamoth treehouse for his 5year old niece. He was really excited about it. He came and spackled my ceiling, from some built in the PO had. His mom found newborn kittens and couldn’t find the mom, so he took one of the kittens and bottle fed him and the little kitty is all good now. My SO was so cute taking care of the little guy, changing blankets giving baths… sooo cute! He went online and ordered three gifts my each of my little nieces, that fit their personality to a T, and one of them is sure he IS a Santa Elf.

My FI is a genuis. Not even kidding-he’s amazing. He is an engineer but does lots of carpentry type work too. He can figure out anything. I broke my Ipad screen and he replaced the screen in less than a half hour. He is a God send.
AND he can do math in his head which I am completely incapable of doing.

My FI is a master at accounting, finance, and Excel spreadsheets. He tracks every dollar that comes in and goes out and helps me stay on track with my spending as well. He even created this Excel document to help us keep track of wedding spending. He pays the bills every month and just tells me what my portion is. It’s so nice to know that he’s taking care of these things 🙂

My Jimmylove surprises me every day with the smallest things. He will get up and make me a cup of tea. He’ll start the shower for me. Help me cook dinner. Etc, etc. I always tell him afterwards how sweet he is and he tells me that he always does what he can. But he doesn’t understand how lucky I feel and how much I truly appreciate him.

OMG! Where to start?
DH is the most reliable person I’ve ever known & he remembers to do stuff.
He loves my dogs & horses as much, if not more than I do.
He is the most trustworthy person I know.
He has an amazing knowledge of history & geography. I love that he can link current events to history, even the most remote, little known parts of the world.
He gives me foot rubs all the time.
He does so many things for me, I can’t even begin to count.
He is even tempered & stable to my high strung nature.
He has a solid work ethic.
I could go on all day . . . but we’re getting ready to take one of the dogs to the vet.

On Saturday, my DH was going hunting with his dad and spending the nite with him as well, and I went with my family to a get together and when I came home it felt really empty and I said outloud that I missed him, even though we would probably be home doing nothing, but still it wouldn’t be lonely. Well he called a couple of hours later and said he missed me and was telling his brother, that even though we would probably be doing nothing, that he still missed me! That is why I Love Him:)

@Pomapoo: mine is the same way with excel! he creates all these really cool fancy formatted things for me which i love.
he works super hard, 60 hour work weeks, then commutes from the city (abt 3 hours every day total) b/c i couldnt move to the city and he stayed home with me (and saved for the ring nad all that). he has a great job. plus no matter what he manages to always be in a good mood, easy going, open minded and positive– all qualities i do not remotely have and wish i could learn from him! hes the best

Gosh, I love these stories about all the bees and their men! It is so nice to hear all the sweet things you all love and adore about your men!
My DH really overwhelmed me on New Years Eve. We had plans to go up to the mountains and spend time with his family and some friends…BUT, I went to my yoga class late that afternoon and ended up tearing a muscle in my hip. Needless to say I wasn’t going anywhere that night!
Not only did he stay home, but he went to the store and then came home and made the most delicious dinner for me! He also gave me a backrub, ran a bath for me, and then set me up on the couch with some tea and a move….
Sigh, what would we do without our men??
