Maybe it’s because more women are wearing short sleeves or sleeveless now that it’s warming up but lately I’ve been noticing women’s arm hair… or lack thereof.
What do you do (if anything)?
I tend to alternate between nothing, trimming it, or shaving it.

I have beastly arm hair. It’s disgusting. But I don’t do anything to it. Shaving grosses me out because I do not want prickly arms. In the summer it turns blond from the sun so it’s not as noticeable (thank god). I know it’s not really lady like, but I just blame my Italian heritage. ha.

I didn’t notice my arm hair until this post so I plan to ignore it on my wedding day too 🙂

I shave it everyday, it doesn’t have time to get prickly..I hate the way it looks. I’ve been shaving it for 9 years.

I’m a shaver…my sister thinks it is so weird but I know she’s oddly interested!

I don’t do anything, but I just have blond fuzz and don’t notice it unless it’s sunny out.

@MlleBrielle:Mine turns blonde from the sun too.
@Broken Biscuit: LOL oops!

I have arm hair; it’s not out of control. But it’s there.
I decided that I already deal with my legs, bikini, eyebrow, and upperlip and it was easier to make peace with the arms than to add it to the list of maintenance.

I don’t do anything to it, but I have been considering lasering it off. I may try waxing it since that’s not too drastic (or expensive). Bleaching isn’t an option since blonde hair isn’t natural on Asians.

I leave mine alone. It’s blonde. I really don’t even think about it! Now I’m wondering if I should get rid of it?

@BothCoasts: this minus the upper lip.

@Eight6Eleven: No way girl! If it doesn’t bother you then don’t give it another thought. I only randomly started noticing it, and having arm hair isn’t weird.

If you do anything, wax it. It’s always noticeable when people shave their arms – even to guys. I go au natural but when I worked at a salon I would wax it now again and loved the way it felt.

@jara: That sounds painful!

I shave it. I’ve been doing it since I was about 13, it was so hairy and embarassing. The whole “it will grow back faster and thicker” is total BS. I only do it every 6 weeks or so, even then it barely grows back.
I also don’t think it’s noticable. People have been stunned when I’ve said I do it. Fiance never even noticed that I did it until recently.
