@rbuchanan09:

A: 5

B: Absolutely not. That just seems excessive, asking for drama and a pain to coordinate I would just pick a couple of your absolute closest.

C: I think they should at least have the same color.

D: Haven’t decided yet.

E: Haven’t decided but its an option still.

A.How many bridesmaids do you have?

 Five

B. Would you consider having 12 bridesmaids who are your closest friends. No , anything more than 6 would be extreme to me

C. Do you think that bridesmaids should match or have different dresses and different colors. There is no hard and fast rule, I’ve seen it done both ways and it looks nice both ways

D. What was your bridesmaid gift?

A designer purse in addition to day of accessores

E. Did you go out of town for your bachelorette
I didnt have a bach party

A.How many bridesmaids do you have? 4

B. Would you consider having 12 bridesmaids who are your closest friends: I hardly have 12 friends, nevermind 12 CLOSE friends. That seems way too much to me.

C. Do you think that bridesmaids should match or have different dresses and different colors: Whatever the bride wants. But I am a fan of letting the girls pick the style, so they feel more comfortable

D. What was your bridesmaid gift? I’m not sure yet

E. Did you go out of town for your bachelorette: Yes, but most of my friends are out of town so it was inevitable

A. I have 9 BM!

B. Sure, what’s 3 more girls thrown into the craziness!

C. On paper different dresses/colors sounds fun & pretty.. but in real life, no, I like matching

D. I have several things for my girls! A few are DYI, I’ve slowly started them but aren’t finished: personalized hangers w/ their names to hang their dress, flip flops bedazzled for the reception, a picture frame w/ a picture of the whole group together, a glittered wine glass, a flower for their hair for the wedding & a $25 gift card to the salon to help pay for their hair

E. Haven’t had it yet, but I know we won’t be going out of town.

A.How many bridesmaids do you have?  6

B. Would you consider having 12 bridesmaids who are your closest friends. I don’t think so..

C. Do you think that bridesmaids should match or have different dresses and different colors. Personal choice – I like the look of matching

D. What was your bridesmaid gift? Still working on it

E. Did you go out of town for your bachelorette – No, and only one of my BM might be there and it is planned and hosted by a work friend who is unable to attend the wedding. All of which is fine, didn’t expect any parties/planning as most BM live far away!

A.How many bridesmaids do you have? Four

B. Would you consider having 12 bridesmaids who are your closest friends. Never in a million trillion years. I’m currently in a wedding with 8 and that is already hard enough to organize.

C. Do you think that bridesmaids should match or have different dresses and different colors. Match. If you want different dresses I prefer same fabric/color. Different lengths BM dresses are one of my wedding pet peeves.

D. What was your bridesmaid gift? Robe, Necklace, Jewelry roll (+ Tiffany bracelet for MOH)

E. Did you go out of town for your bachelorette? Vegas for 3 nights, only two BMs attended though

D. Still working on the gifts.

E. Yes, we are going out of town heading to Miami from Seattle for my bachelorette party.

A.How many bridesmaids do you have?  3 including my MOH

B. Would you consider having 12 bridesmaids who are your closest friends? Hell NO! That is way too many people to wrangle. You also have to remember that each bridesmaid means a bouquet (or alternative, whatever you choose to do) and a gift, at the very least. That can get extremely expensive when you have a dozen of ’em.

C. Do you think that bridesmaids should match or have different dresses and different colors? I’m personally a fan of different dresses since you’ll be hardpressed to find a single style that will work for everyone. My girls comfort was one of my main concerns when it came to their dresses. I didn’t want them to have to buy a dress they didn’t like or wouldn’t be completely comfortable in. Ultimately though, it depends on what the brides vision is. However, I absolutely think it’s crutial to take your maids opinions into concern. Just choosing a dress because you like it isn’t good enough when you’re asking other people to wear and purchase it.

D. What was your bridesmaid gift? Movie night baskets that included the Bridesmaids DVD (we were all supposed to see it in theatres when it came out but our schedules never worked. Luckily, the DVD was released only a few days before our wedding so timing was perfect), a cozy throw blanket that matched their respected living rooms, comfy PJ pants, gourmet popcorn and a bottle of wine from the winery we had a tasting at for my bachelorette party.

E. Did you go out of town for your bachelorette? No. My bachelorette consisted of wine tasting, dinner at a fancy Mexican restaurant, a hysterical comedy show and gay bar karaoke. It couldn’t have possibly been more perfect. I’m on the fence when it comes to OOT bachelorettes. I don’t think it’s right for the bride to demand one, which unfortunately happens all too often. If the bridesmaids are on board and plan it themselves it’s one thing but they can get extremely expensive.

A: 4

B: No way, never

C: I like same color, same fabric, same length, but varying styles.  I also like varying shades of the same color, like some light gray, some dark gray, but everyone in gray.

D: I am not sure yet!

E: Plans aren’t finalized for my bachelorette party, but we are not going out of town.  I think my girls are planning a fun night out on a Friday – then on Saturday, everyone who wants to nurse their hangover on the lake at my parents’ cabin (an hour away) is doing that until Sunday.  Laughing

A.How many bridesmaids do you have?

3: My sister is MOH, plus my cousin and my best friend of over a decade

B. Would you consider having 12 bridesmaids who are your closest friends.

I can’t imagine having 12 people TRULY be my closest friends. I chose my small bridal party because I KNEW I would still know these people 50 years from now and not regret having them in my wedding pictures. Also, girls almost always = drama. Less girls = less drama.

C. Do you think that bridesmaids should match or have different dresses and different colors.

I personally don’t like when they wear the EXACT same dress, especially if they have very different body types. Even with only having 3 girls who are all relatively skinny, they all have different body types (one is thin but wider, one is thin but large chested, one is thin but JLO butt), so I gave them a designer and color and let them pick out the style that they felt most comfortable with, so they still look like a cohesive unit but are all comfortable and look good for their body types.

D. What was your bridesmaid gift?

Not 100% sure yet…FI is giving them personalized bottle openers along with a subscription to one of those beer of the month clubs, so I may do something similar for my girls…a personalized robe and then subscription to one of those sites that sends monthly beauty products…

E. Did you go out of town for your bachelorette

Well I live in a suburb of NYC, and the bachelorette will almost definitely be in NYC, so technically it’s a different state, lol, but it’s only 30-60 minutes away and is what we consider “our” city, so no, not really 🙂
