MrsPiggles:  how awesome!  Fiancé and I are going to Maldives but it was a toss up between Bora Bora and Maldives at first.  Would love to hear about your trip afterwards!  Gotta love the over the water bungalows!  So exciting!!

will be off to Japan.   Atleast that’s the current plan… it’s embarassing how many plans we’ve had since our engagement in 2012. 🙂

We delayed it after the wedding though – I couldn’t handle a big trip on top of the wedding stuff.  We did a mini moon to the columbia ice fields and in around british columbia in canada.   I was only a few days and then we chilled at home and I took a whole week for us.

Where are you going?

Originally were going ot Maui but future in laws are selling their timeshare, so now have been in debate but right now the front runner is Vegas.

How long are you staying?

5-7 days…depending on deals and what not, no matter where we go.

What are you most excited for?

Excited for some adult time. We have a 2 year old so this will be our first time away (she will be over 3 by then…almost 4 by the time we take our honeymoon 8 months after our wedding) …it will be great to have some grown up time to drink, dance, stay up late, not wake up early. I look forward to anything and everything.

we went to Mauritius

14 days

we were super excited to be staying in a 5* resort (1st and probably last time ever! LOL) and to be having a break – we had no holidays in the 2 years runup to the wedding.

We’re going to Hawaii (Maui, the Big Island and Waikiki on Oahu).

We’re off for 14 days.

I cannot wait to chill out and do a few tours, namely the Mauna Kea stargazing experience, the Mt Kaleakala bike ride, Paradise Cove lu’au and maybe a helicopter ride somewhere. I’m also excited to do some shopping plus eat and drink heaps, haha.

TiaMP:  We’re going to Berlin for 10 days! I’ve never been to Germany, and I’m pretty excited about the food aspect, but I’m MOST excited about the fact that we have tickets to see the Blue Man Group!

Pele:  Haha, we had so many different plans before we settled on our final choice, it was silly! First it was Christmas Markets in Europe, then it was a train tour of Eastern European capital cities, then it was a beach holiday in the Canary Islands, then it was a skiing holiday in Norway… And for like a week it was Disneyworld in Florida.  (ETA: holy shit, ‘disneyworld’ got autoformatted into a link to the website, that wasn’t me that did that, the Mouse is in Weddingbee ETA: oh now it’s disappeared to make me look like a crazy person, thanks Mickey)

The Columbia Ice Fields are so cool! I got the chance to stop by for an afternoon a couple of years ago and it was so so amazing, I’m so glad we did.

We both love to travel so we are doing a 2 parter Honeymoon since we’re getting married in November and there aren’t tons of places that we wanted to visit that would have decent weather during that time.

Part 1. December 2014: We’re heading to Kenya partially for a friends wedding (they had a Canadian wedding as well) but they’ve also setup a really affordable safari for the week after the wedding. We will be going for a week.

Part 2 May 2015: Iceland, Bavaria and possibly with a stop in France or Portugal/Spain.
