We’re just last week back from honeymoon. We spent a week in The Algarve, Portugal. Mr. Daly is back to school now so we’ve no plans til Christmas which I’m hoping will be low key and peaceful!

The after wedding stuff is just as fun as the wedding! We’re planning the honeymoon (most likely Amalfi Coast in Italy or a multi-city trip from Paris to Amalfi Coast) and starting to look at houses. So excited!

Our date is the 31st, we go on our honeymoon directly after the wedding and come back on November 13th.

We plan to relax, and in the spring [during our townwide garage sale] unload all of the wedding things we purchased. We are keeping some ideas that we could specifically to use after the wedding [crock pots, chandeliers, decor] and the rest will be sold.

We plan to purchased a new vehicle after tax time [we have a great running car now but she is getting old, great little work car still though]. We want something cute and reliable to do our errand running in.

We also will start saving for our first home.. we were able to invest almost $18k into our wedding in a year, so within a year or so we should have a sizeable downpayment for a home. Although, we plan to take our time and find the perfect home without rushing into anything so it may take longer than that.

No babies being planned as of yet, we both agree that we would like to enjoy living as husband and wife and crossing some things off our bucket lists before becoming parents. I feel somewhat pressured to have children [I’m 26], but I feel like he is still a little young [23]. We both agree that if we do not have children by the time I’m 35, we are not having any at all.

We aren’t planning on going on a honeymoon until early 2015… to a TBD place. However, I’m hoping within the next couple of weeks to go seek out a travel agent or speak to someone at AAA to start the planning process and hope the places we (or I, he says I can pick wherever) aren’t booked for when we want to go.

Otherwise, it’ll be unpacking wedding presents and donating the items that we get as replacements – and get the house more into an “our” home instead of “his” and I just live here. I moved into his house last summer (2013), and sold mine a year and a day after our wedding (10/18/13). I’m sure we’ll start looking for a new place in another year or so… we need room to start a family!

Speaking of that, we’ll probably start working on that after the honeymoon and who knows… maybe this time next year I’ll be pregnant! 🙂 I’ll be 34 and he’ll be 26 next year, so time if of the essence.

Nothing super exciting I guess… but we’ll be married!
