I have one tattoo that I got 5 years ago. It is a small Celtic knot on my right shoulder. I love my tattoo and have never regretted getting it. (If it looks a little odd in the photo, it is because this was taken a day after I got it so the ink is a little runny.)
I really want to get a second tattoo. I am thinking higher up on the edge of my left shoulder is a possibility…. I am contemplating getting a tiny silhouette of a cat, or a quote from Harry Potter. The two quotes that stuck out to me are “Always” and “Words are out most inexhaustible source of magic.”
Anyways, I would love to hear about your tattoos, Bees! Any tips on cute places for a tattoo that aren’t too painful are very welcome.

I have nine, and I’m in the process of designing my tenth.
A cross on my right calf, “The way, the truth, the life,” as an anklet on my right ankle, a backward treble clef on the inside of my right ankle (yes, it’s backward on purpose), a bass clef on the inside of my left ankle, two stars on each of my hips, “Hope,” with a heart and a dragonfly (for my mom) on my right shoulder blade, “Breathe,” on the inside of my left upper arm, and the initial of my last name on the side of my ring finger (under my ring).
My next one is going to be a monogram of my Grandpa’s initials (he passed away almost two years ago), but I haven’t decided where it will be. I know I want it on the left side of my body, though, because he was left-handed like I am. Totally unrelated, but I also really want a golden snitch tattoo someday.
The hips were probably the least painful and the shoulder blade was probably the most painful, though I really haven’t noticed that much of a pain difference between the different areas I’ve had them done.

I have 4, just got 2 last week! I have a small simple red bow on my right wrist, a quote from a book around my left ankle, a paper crane outline over my heart(ish), and my last name from my dad’s signature on my right ribs. The one that hurt the most was by far my ankle. I’m sure if my wrist one would have been bigger it would have been up there too. All of my tattoos have meaning to me and I have never regretted getting one!

These are 2 of my 3 that I have. the bigger one was my first one when I was 18. I don’t regret any of them, I just have to get that one touched up before the wedding. I have plans to get more some time. I may use the time I get the one touched up as a “well, since I’m already here….” Lol

I have one on the top of my foot which hurt a ton, apparently it’s one of the more painful places to get a tattoo. I also have one on my wrist which I love, it’s just an outline of a heart, simple and pretty 🙂

My upper back is tattooed 🙂 I have a paw print with scrolling that goes from shoulder to shoulder and beneath that I have “Always” with three tiger llilies (Harry potter FTW!

I’ve got some script on my inner forearm, about 6 inches long. The only part that hurt was when it got close to my wrist, but other than that it was easy.
I’m getting a bird done on my back in a couple weeks…can’t wait!

I have four, two on my back, one on my left ankle, one on my right wrist. I’m trying to figure out further designs – I kinda want to get something big, but I’m a bit chicken.
Flower on left wrist
Siblings’ birthdates (latest tattoo) and celtic heart (first tattoo) on back. This was taken with my back to the mirror with the camera held over my head. the numerals aren’t actually backwards!:
Treble clef/flower on left leg:
To be honest, my first one hurt the least – everything else was on bone or on thin skin. Maybe it was because my shoulder was fleshier than the other areas I have tattoed. I think the one on my spine hurt the most, but maybe it just seems that way because it’s the newest and the feeling is more fresh. However, I don’t remember feeling like I was going to puke with the other ones.

I have one. It’s on the middle of my upper back. It’s part of the cover art for Deja Entendu by Brand New.
It was kind of painful right on my spine, especially the top where it’s closest to my neck, but it wasn’t unbearable. It was about 4 hours for the first session, and then probably another hour after it was healed for touchups, highlights and more detail

I have 4
a dragonfly on my wrist [got this to cover up a very large scar]
a small cartoon cow on my foot [my favorite animal are cows]
a set of 3 stars in black, and shaded in pink between my shoulder blades [my first tattoo, I LOVE this one, it tickled when he was shading over my spine though!]
and a small butterfly on my shoulder [me and 7 of my closest friends all have matching ones in different colors, in different places of our bodies].

I have 11 total. Two on one inner forearm, three more on the other, one on each side of my rib cage, three more on my back, and one across my chest. The chest piece definitely hurt the worst and took 3 seperate sessions. The other areas weren’t bad at all.

I’ve got a decent amount.. I don’t remember the last time I counted. My fiance is covered though.. feet, legs, full front piece, full sleeves, hands, fingers, neck, head.. you name it, haha.

I have four, but this is my first and favorite one. It’s the initials of my name (my middle name and I have two last names because I was born in Colombia.) I got the idea from the breaking bad logo. I am also a scientist so I wanted something geeky.
