I made a progress post on my alterations, and posted a poll on belt options.. and this was the result..
So I’m going to try this again, and hopefully it won’t be such tied result haha.
Ignore the tulle around me, haha. Thoughts on whether I should do a belt, if so what kind do you think? Thank you so much ladies!!!

I’m feeling a thick blingy one. I love bling!

I’d do a thick blingy one as well. you have such a tiny waist, it’ll look awesome.

I think it would look pretty with a belt. If you do go belt I think it would look really great with one that has a larger detail in the front as the focus but a subtle/plain back, such as these:

@sillygoat: I think a thin one that doesn’t take attention away from the bottom of the dress would be nice.

I vote yes to a blingy belt! Not TOO thick yough… You have SUCH a fantastic, tiny waist!

I like it the way you have it, showing off your fabo waist. However, if you want to add bling, I get it. In that case, I would need to see a thin versus thick, but in my mind, a thinner one would allow your shape to shine on its own!

I think you should post a photo of you wearing two types of belts – it’s harder to vote without seeing what it looks like.
I did vote for a belt and a thin one… but a thick one might look better? Hard to say! You have to try them on!!

Bling belt definitely and on the thicker side. I think it’ll help draw attention to your tiny waist and at the same time, add some flair to the bodice.

I like it plain. I think belts are really faddy and will be the giant poofy sleeves of the 2010s, personally. Plus your dress has enough going on already, a belt might detract from the cool bottom.

I voted for a thin belt. Your dress already has a lot going on, so if you add a wide belt (+ accessories!), I think it will be too much… The bride has to shine too and not be overtaken by all that jazz.
Edit: I think a belt is better than none, but thin or none at all IMO.

Thanks ladies for the waist comments! I do have a pretty tiny waist.. usually between 24.5-25.5 inches depending, so I’d like to accentuate it so I’m torn what to do.
I appreciate everyones input so far! I was thinking I might do a belt, a large headpiece since I have short hair, like this twigs and honey one (only handmade since i refuse to spend $600 on something I put in my hair) and then earrings and that be it for accesories.. maybe a necklace too? Not sure if that’d be too busy.

@missamysmiles: Next fitting I will try to remember to take some difference ribbons and take photos of difference widths 🙂
