You'll have to find a good seamstress and ask. I would say no because I've always been told thats its very hard too, and might ruin the look of the dress. The most they could do is maybe a 1/2 inch or less.
OP, I just saw you post to another thread about dress regret and I have to tell you, If you are open to being swayed, DON'T let this dress out. I saw you post a picture of yourself in it in another thread, and I have to say, the shape it gives you is amazing. It looks like it was made for you hun! Don't even have a second thought, I love it!

Hello everyone.
I'm pretty new here, and I have a question about my dress...I'm trying to get a sense of how many people have been in my shoes.
I ordered Watters 'Alexandra' for my June 2012 wedding:
She's my dream dress, for sure.
The skirt is not a trumpet gown per se; I guess it's more of a modified A-line.
My question is:
assuming there is enough fabric to let it out, do you think a seamstress would be open to letting out the dress in the hips, to make the gown fuller and more of a traditional A-line?
What do you all think? Any other watters alexandra brides out there?
Thank you so much :)
