I agree. I actually love level three! My inner ballerina looks forward to the plies. :)
Haha, me too! I just think it's so weird how it's so much easier!
It's only easier for us women - R had a much easier time with level 2, I think because he has a lot of upper body strength but I'm all leg strength. But it's mostly geared towards women, so maybe it's just supposed to be more of a tone-up, whereas level 2 is that point where you're really supposed to be burning through the fat?
I like level 3 better than level 2 which I like better than level 1. ^_^ Although, I have to do some switching around because all the jumping in level 3 kills my bad knee after a couple days.
Does anyone else hate how you have to jump up and down from being on the floor to standing up, though? My blood doesn't return to my head fast enough so I have to stand up really slowly or risk falling over, so sometimes the standing up exercises get cut a little short for me. :( I have to say, that's the main thing I dislike about all the levels. I have one of Jillian's other circuit training DVDs (Burn Fat, Gain Muscle? I think that's what it's called) which is longer and groups standing exercises together, then floor exercises, switching back and forth so I don't feel like I'm about to fall over. It can be a nice change.
Hey Ladies, can you enlighten me a little? I have the workouts on Excersize TV on demand, but there aren't any instructions about how often or when you are supposed to do each excersize. I've been doing Level 1 now for a week, but I don't know when to start doing level 2...
Thanks!
i agree!! i loves level 3! i actually like level 2 the least.
@moderndaisy - I did level 1 for the longest, until I felt like I had conquered it, about 3 weeks. Level 2 took me less time, about 2 weeks, and Level 3 I only did a week because I got distracted by midterms. I'm going through the whole thing again with one week on each, and then moving on to Banish Fat Boost Metabolism.
(That's with doing it every day, by the way.)
I am starting level 2 tonight - I have done level 1 about 6 times so I now want something different and Level 1 is no longer making the same challenge. I was also curious if there was a "set" plan or timeline
I started level 2 the other day and have done it two times. It is really difficult for me because I definitely have more lower body strength then upper body...hating the plank position right about now! I'll probably do it a few more times before moving up to level 3. I'm happy to hear it's more lower body!

So I had to take a break from the Shred, because it was making my ankles & tendon REALLY sore & it was bruised so bad to the point that I could hardly walk! & I know it was Level 2 that did it, but this morning I decided to get up & try out Level 3, and while it IS hard, it's easier than Level 2 is for me!
What about you ladies? How are yall holding up??
