OHhhhhhhhhhhh I am so sorry that this is happening. Have they said why they can't come and why they're waiting until now to let it be known. I know that has to be hard for you. ((hugs))
Oh my God, I can't imagine being in your situation! I really can't. So many hugs to you.
Take a few deep breaths, and try to just plug along. You don't know anything for sure yet.
Can I ask why they wouldn't be coming? Is it a financial thing?
I think mainly it probably is a financial thing, however at the same time, they seem to have money for all of their priveledges as well. Such as a 2000 dollar computer, or concert tickets etc etc. Its just frustrating to say the least. My mom doesn't like to fly on planes to she refused to come unless she drives down or takes a train. But she didn't mind flying for my sister, or for her honeymoon... its a little messed up in my eyes but i can't really seem to process it yet. Maybe things will turn around.

Our big day is approaching soon... and I have my mighty checklist in front of me as a constant reminder of everything left for the big day. Some of these items include:
*Getting a tux for my son/ringbearer
*finding some sort of fabric better than tulle for aisle runner decor
*Designing Programs, Table Cards, and Name Cards on a very poor womans budget.
Right now none of this seems to matter. I just got a phone call from my father letting me know that my sister/bridesmaid may not be coming... and that my mother may not be coming either (We are having a california wedding, and my parents live in michigan). I am beyond devastated right now. I had always pictured my parents being in the front row, crying of course, and my sister being by my side on such an important day of my life. And understanding that my family is from michigan, I'm not really going to have anyone there who is super close to me other than my friends that are in the party. So I feel a little alone. So yeah, right now my get to list doesn't seem really to be really getting anywhere. Hopefully things will work out and I won't be singing the October Blues.
