OMG I would be all over that in a heartbeat!! Great idea!!!!
And they are so simple to make! The Jenga was made out of wood blocks that could be found at Home Depot or Lowe's or simply by cutting 2X4's. The connect four are paint can tops spray painted! So cute and easy!
It would be awesome! That would be such a fun thing to have for people to do, I love it
We have a bar in Vancouver that has the exact same concept. I love it. I think you should totally do it at your wedding :)
We were totally going to do this until our wedding wound up being more formal than we had originally planned.
I love it too! I would soo play! I'm not much of a dance person so i would definitely appreciate having some other form of entertainment.
FUN! I think it's kind of becoming a "thing" in the wedding world to provide games for guests to play. And big, huge giant ones of classics like these are so killer. People will be talking about it forever after your wedding! How are you going to get them though? Rent them from this place you were at?
@littlemissmango: I think they could be made pretty easily... Especially the Jenga. I love these!
@ecofriendlybride: No it wouldn't take away from you at all, go for it, people will love it. One of the venues we saw had these included but we didn't go with them in the end.
We had that for Easter last year when my hubby and I were in the Netherlands. :)
Totally go for it!!! That would be so much fun, and people would talk about your wedding for ages!
@Mrs.tobe: True that. My man's a carpenter, maybe I need to steal this idea!! :D
That would be super fun! When we went to Jamaica we played life sized chess and it was so much fun!
Lol Love this idea!
@dodgercpkl: I would have been terrified of one of those blocks dropping on my foot. They look enormous!
@Miss Godiva: You could totally use this idea!
To all: Thanks so much for the reassuring comments! We are also planning on leaving markers to write wishes or words of wisdom on the blocks :)
@ Little Miss Mango: We are going to "try" (keyword TRY) to make them! I will post pics of how it goes!
@mistyeyes: Haha! They weren't really heavy enough to worry me and we all had a blast with it! :) It was one of the favorite games that day. :D
That would be so much fun. People will remember your wedding! Great idea! I want one for our house, great for parties!
I went to Barcadia last night and saw the same thing and had the same thought. Did you include or are you including this in your wedding? Did you rent it or make it? If you rented, where?
Thanks!
My fiance and I are board game lovers too. I think this is the BEST. IDEA. EVER. and will make for awesome pics!!!
USE LITTLE JENGA BLOCKS AS ESCORT CARDS!!
that's all I have to contribute but COME ON IT'D BE GREAT!
This is such a great idea that i looked for one online instead of tyring to make it myself. I googled a site and found www.tumblingtowers.com, they sent me a custom set for our wedding and it came so fast. Everyone has loved playing with it so far. Thanks for the great game idea :)
These would be awesome for the cocktail hour in the garden at my wedding!

So here is the back story:
My famiy and I are extremely huge on game night, and my fiance is a major video game nerd (so much so, his groom's cake will be an XBOX)! Anyways, my fiance and I were at a barcadia (half bar/ half arcade) and what was there.....Life size Jenga and connect four!
So......would it be tacky to have a life size connect four and jenga at our wedding? We are not having a formal wedding and we want people to have fun (even those that don't dance). My only fear is that this would take attention away from "us" at the wedding.
Comments please!
