I like the darker grey for sure and I agree with julies1949 about the patterned tie, I like those much more than a plain light pink one! Or may have the groom in a patterned tie with the groomsmen in a solid color?

Have you considered dark navy suits? Not blue, but dark navy (if you can find them). That’s what we’re going with for our wedding this weekend – my dress is light gold too, girls are in navy and boys are in a deep dark navy. But then I’ve always been a fan of navy and gold!

Out of your options i would go the dark grey 🙂

mintjulep77:  Definitely grey of some kind. I think all the softer wedding dress colours (cream, gold, blush etc) look better with grey, while black looks better with pure white.

If you were going to differentiate, I’d go with the groom in light grey and groomsmen in the dark grey. That’s because I think the lighter grey goes better with your dress, while the darker grey goes better with the BM dresses.

I would say all in the same color suits with groom in a differentiating tie 🙂 Though my DH and his groomsmen all had the same color jacket and pants, my DH had an almost black vest and a different tie

mintjulep77:  I like the tie suggestions from Julies above, but I also like the differentiating type of suit for your FH and his groomsmen.  So that your FH stands out like you would since you’re wearing white.  My cousin had her white gown, jewel colored BM dresses, her husband wore white and his groomsmen wore black so both she and her husband stood out on their wedding day.

I think dark grey. If you want to differentiate between the groom he cab have the patterened tie while the groomsmen have plain ties.

Love your dress by the way!

I agree with PPs. Dark grey would look sophisticated while still providing contrast. Black would be too harsh. Light grey would look washed out.Maybe GMs could wear grey or black ties while FI wears pink?

mintjulep77:  I think it’s perfectly fine if they don’t all match the colors. Honestly matchy-matchy is kind of overwhelming sometimes, and can feel a little outdated sometimes.
