I pill went off of the pill 6 months ago and my periods are light (not really different than when I was on the pill) and they last for 2-3 days although by the last couple days, it’s more like spotting. Did anyone else have light periods and still conceive? Is this something I should be concerned about or am I thinking too much?

@WillowB: I always had light periods. They would usually last 1 day, 2 at best and were pretty light. I also had short cycles. My doctor never seemed that concerned.
However I never realized that my short cycle meant I had a short luteal phase (days betwee ovulation and next period). I started at a 7-day LP and you need a minimum of 10 to get pregnant.
If you’re cycles are regular and your LP is okay I wouldn’t worry. Just relax and enjoy TTC 🙂

I think short/light cycles are fine 🙂 I have a couple friends that basically had a half day of red bleeding, then just spotting for a day or two and that was it, all went on to have successful easy pregnancies and early luck TTC.
It could certainly be worth asking your dr about though just to ease your mind, next time you go in for a check up/appt! I know a few people who have gone in before TTC just to ask all the questions and make sure everything was good to do before they started trying. 🙂
