Sorry Bee’s I know this is probably like the 5000th post about paper lanterns. I did comb the boards for a while to see if I could find the answer but I didn’t. And I’m trying to get this taken care of so I need some help.
I know I want the hanging LED battery lights cause I cant mess with a bunch of cords. And I know a lot of people are using the throwies but I’ve just got WAY too much going on with everything else in my life and planning to add another DIY project.
So my question is where is the best/most inexpensive place to buy the lights?
What exactly should I be looking for?
Your help is VERY much appreciated.

When I was looking around for lanterns earlier, I found this site:
… they seem to have some hanging LED things that might be useful.

For a friend of mine rather than buying the LED lights we bought the battery operated tea lights (much cheaper) at Walmart and took fishing line and hung it inside the lantern.

I didnt want to bother with making Throwies either… i jsut didnt have the time… I dunno how cheap this is because we dont have alot of lanterns to light & only needed one pack … but in the wedding section @ Walmart they have these little LED lights that are pill shaped with holes for hanging … I think they are made to go in balloons we are using those to light our big lanterns that did not have lights already
They are $10 for a dozen i think but much brighter than Tea Lights
