I think a bunch of people got these types of lights during the holiday clearance sales recently (Miss Trail Mix?)
We have a covered porch in our apt, I put them out there & and I love them.I got ours at target on sale but I don't see them on the website.
I bet home & garden stores would be cheaper than party supply stores. I'd def. check for brides selling them too.
Well I dont know about cafe lights i have never seen them in stores.... but have you considered christmas lights.... After Christmas I found Huge boxes of 400 strand lights for like $3-$4 a box... I even found some with white lights with white wire... I intend to use them somehow for my wedding
Thanks, ladies! I was just at Target. Apparently, they've already gotten rid of their clearance lights. I'm going to hopefully check Home Depot soon. Let's hope I didn't miss the boat on this one! :)
I think those are so cute! I'd love to do that outside at ours but I don't know how we'd be able to string them up for as long as they need to go!
I went to partylights.com. You can chose the size of the lightbulbs, I think its G3 and G4 ( I could be wrong though, I ordered these before Christmas) anyways, once you click on the picture, the website will tell you the size of the bulb. I think I got 26' per string for 8 bucks or something. Pretty sweet deal!
I love the idea for outdoor receptions, but I'm afraid it won't be dark out when we'll be outside. I don't think it will start getting dark until 8pm, at which point the party will be moved inside.
Looked at partylights.com...they're expensive!! Target is still the better deal at 12.99 for a 25 ft length with bulbs. I see these lights at so many restaurants...I've been tempted to go inside and ask the manager if I could buy them! =)

But they are so expensive. Has anyone found cafe lights for a decent price? Or have any suggestions for cheaper alternatives?
