I want my bridesmaids to wear different styles but in the same colour. The easiest way to do that I think is to get them all from one designer. I love the options from Bill Levkoff, especially the chiffon dresses like:
However, the closest colour that they come in is “glacier”, which is more of a mint green.
Could you suggest some other designers or options that have similar designs but the colours I’m looking for? Or any other thoughts? David’s bridal seems decent but not perfect.

I’m doing the same thing! Same color and fabric (turquoise and chiffon), and I’m letting them pick different styles. We are choosing from Alfred Angelo and/or Mori Lee. They have a large variety of styles in chiffon, and a large color spectrum as well (everything from Tiffany Blue to turquoise to peacock and all in between). Hope this helps! 🙂
As for the turquoise wedding, what accent color are you using? I wanted a simple yet elegant look so I thought turquoise and white would be perfect (pops of greenery in floral arrangements). But sometimes i worry that the turquoise will be too overpowering so I’ve thought of doing dark gray dresses instead of the turquoise ones and just doing all the decor in turquoise…ahh too many options 🙁

I’m not too worried about the torquoise being overpowering because I’m getting married in March in Vancouver. It’s going to be grey and raining so I wanted something cheery. I’m still having some similar colour choosing troubles, idolina. I love the Bill Levkoff so much that I’ve almost decided to go with the pewter grey colour just so that I can use his dresses.
I was originally going to use coral as my accent colour. I’ve seen a lot of beautiful boquets on pinterest that mix teal and coral so I figured there would be some great flower options. Plus the colour is really in style right now so nail polish, shoes, and accessories should be easier to find.
So are you mixing Mori Lee and Alfred Angelo in the same bridal party? I guess you want several shades of torquoise then, not just one uniform colour?

Sorry I’m butting in here but I just wanted to say that turquoise is my main color too! It will be accented by orange and yellow for a bright, happy spring wedding.
good luck in your dress search!

@physicsbride: The glacier actually looked turquiose in person. My friend picked this color for her wedding.

What about “teal” for the Bill Levkoffs – do you have a swatch of the turquoise you had in mind?
I was actually thinking about this dress for my BMs (in teal) because I, too, am looking for something in turquoise and chiffon.

Hey! @physicsbride: The Glacier color is suprisingly BLUE when you see it in person, a gorgeous color, I personally think. Have you seen it in person and nixed it that way or just online? There is a HUGE difference in swatch colors on a computer screen and i real life…

Why is everyone posting here? This thread died a year ago. This bride has been married since March.

@Chrysoberyl: sometimes a thread shows up in “Related Topics” and people don’t realize that it’s old. Sorry.

@Chrysoberyl: it was actually on the first page of this section when I replied. I didn’t pay attention to the day it was originally posted. Sorry for upsetting you so much.
