I believe they say 2 drinks per person which is a set number of ounces. if you google you should find it.
2 drinks per person -- per hour, right?
I'd suggest calling a couple of liquor distributors and asking what they'd recommend. They do this kind of stuff all the time. You also might be able to return unopened bottles, which will save you some cash.
I haven't used this, but the eVite drink calculator has come recommended by other brides and seems to be a pretty good tool.
BevMo has this information on their website. It tells you how to calculate everything and how much you will need.
We had an at home wedding so we had to buy our own bar. The store we bought our liquor from allowed us to take back any unopened bottles. You may want to check around to see if you can do this, it's better to have too much and be able to take it back then run out.

I am trying to figure out how much alcohol we're going to need for a party of 200. We're going with a limited bar- wine, beer, champagne (toast), and two signature cocktails only. Any ideas? Thanks!
