Hello bees! I need advice. I’m about to book the limos for our Labor Day weekend wedding and can’t decide what to do.
Option 1: 14 passenger limo for about $865 for three hours. It would pick up groom, groomsmen, his parents at their house where they’re getting ready, take them to the church early. Same limo would come to the hotel where me, BMs and parents are getting ready, bring us to the church. Same limo would then take all 14 of us to the reception about 25 minutes away. In meantime, other guests and BPs dates would check in to the hotel and a school bus will shuttle them to the reception site, so Bridal Party can go back on the bus at end of the night (or with dates if they drive to the reception from the church.) I’m just slightly worried about how crowded the limo will be, and that there’s no room for my photographer if I want him to take pics in the limo.
Option 2: 8-passenger limo for three hours to do all the same shuttling as mentioned above. However, second limo (also seating 8 ) would arrive at the church at the end of the ceremony, and both limos would take the Bridal Party and 4 parents to the reception for photos. Price is $615. Problem is, I’d have to worry about how to divide us up and dont want to offend anyone if they’re not in the limo with us. Only one limo will have champagne provided. But, there’d be room for photographer if I wanted it.
Option 3 – could still have these two limos, but put the 4 parents and 2 siblings (who are in the bridal party) in the second limo and have the other bridal party members ride with their significant others. Then fiance and I would ride in the other limo alone, which would be nice. Problem with that is it would require the bridal party to all drive seperately and I’d really like them to show up at the reception site at the same time so we can get started with pictures. Then their SO’s would be standing around for 1.5 hours until the reception starts. If the SOs ride with other people, they can still relax at the hotel for a bit with the other guests.
Option 4- still have two limos – put Fiance and I in one, bridal party in another, and have 4 parents ride together in FI’s dad’s car.
