She’ll get it reduced, but hopefully she does go not like Charlie Sheen

Finally. How many times can this girl crash her car under the influence and be publicly drinking with her alcohol monitoring tether thingy on?!

Seriously… she will serve like 90 minutes.  I hate how there’s such a double standard for so-called celebrities!  Undecided

She broke the law, refused to do her “penance” and now she has to do the harder part.  I’m glad, b/c any other person would experience the same thing.  I, too, hope this changes her.

The article I read about this (ABC News) last night said she’ll serve about 25% of her sentence as all non-violent female criminals do in the L.A. jails (due to overcrowdedness). So it seems she’ll only be in jail about 3 weeks or so.

I wonder if she’ll be in the general population… probably not.  I think that girl needs a good old-fashioned ass whoopin.

I think she also was ordered to undergo more rehab (?) which is good.

I wish they could/would order her mother and father to undergo serious counseling as well, they are enablers. Her mom parties with her all the time – her mom doesn’t care about really helping Lindsay, she just wants to keep her lifestyle going.

I wish that there was a rule that 90% of the earnings from child stars were put into a trust that the parents could not access without extremely good reason, and their access would have to be approved by a neutral 3rd party. When you have parents who live off their children’s $$ and need them to keep working to keep up their lifestyle, then how do you expect them to ever tell the child NO, or set boundaries?
Hopefully this will turn her around. She’s being given chances and opportunities that a non-celeb in her same position wouldn’t be getting. Hopefully she will see that!!

And then her bitch mother made this big whiny statement about how it was so unfair. Puh-LEASE. Guess what? ANYONE would be punished for what Lindsay has done. It may suck for her, but it is NOT unfair.

I loathe LIndsay, but I hate Dina a million times more.

Yeah, I read she will probably only do like 23 days.. but she is required to do a mandatory 90 days in rehab after that… it won’t do any good.  Her mother is an enaballer, and her father is a mess.  She needs to move out of LA for good, or she will just go back to the same girl after rehab.

I just hope this isn’t another “x number of minutes” thing – she’s never going to learn if her big, dramatic jail sentences don’t even last a day.

Maybe rehab will conflict with filming that Linda Lovelace movie and they’ll have to recast? Part of the script was “leaked” and it’s absolutely disgusting and exploitative. Can’t see it doing any favors for her.
