Ok, I need to make a decision.  Hoping there are other bees out there with pictures of their receptions!

My reception hall for dinner and dancing is all wood with the exception of the ceiling which is antique white panels.  I want black and white linens but can't decide which way to coordinate everything.  I thought all white with black sashes would be too white with the ceiling and too bright for an evening reception.  With black tabletops I can't decide which chair cover/sashes would look right.  Then there's the napkin choice - black or white?  There won't be plates on the tables (its a buffet) but they will be white.  I will have menus  on the tables which will also be white.

    Ideas?  Suggestions?  Pictures?

Since the room is white the black TC would add more color to the room. Do you have an accent color? Is everything going to be black & white

Here's a picture of what I did.  I did black and white with green as an accent color.  My tables were black, with white chair covers, black sashes, and white napkins.  My napkins were folded so I could tuck my favors into them.  Here are a few pictures if that helps!  My mom also made damask & green table runners / accent table cloths for a pop of color / pattern.Linen choices : wedding linens black white reception IMG 9699Linen choices : wedding linens black white reception IMG 9713 2Linen choices : wedding linens black white reception IMG 9716 2

@faye0314: I love how you used the napkins. I also am using damask. (as you probably guessed from choice of name) I was considering getting charger plates but the napkins look great! & cheaper!

@OP: When making this decision consider the lighting in the room. Bring more white into the space if the lighting minimal. Hope this helps!

@faye0314: this is exactly what I had in mind!  We are also doing damask with a lime green.  Thanks for the pictures!
