Someone else posted about this a while ago, but I can’t find the thread for you. Pooh. Sorry. Hopefully she’ll see this and respond!! I think she had some links posted as well.

That might have been me! I was looking at the Ofelin tablecloths and ordered one, just to see what it looked like. I went to smartyhadaparty.com for the Ofelin.

Well, they definitely are not like linen and you can definitely tell they were disposable. On the bright side they didn’t have a plastic side and were all the “cotton” feel, but I don’t think anyone would mistake them for linen. If you use an organza or satin overlay on the top they would be awesome, but just to use the Ofelin themselves…probably not.

Check out the Classifieds here though! Lots of people post tablecloths for sale and they are about $10 a piece.

We ordered them, and I was really disappointed. Like serasvictoria said, they’re pretty obviously disposable (they reminded me of the shop paper towels my dad kept in his garage). We’re not planning to have any kind of overlay on our tables, so we sent them back.

I was able to get 120″ tablecloths from http://www.wholesaleweddingchaircovers.com for $10 plus shipping. It was a special they had at the time, now it looks like either $15, $13, or $12 depending on quanity, but maybe they’ll run it again before your wedding? Shipping was expensive, but even factoring that into the price they were $13-something apiece, which was still cheaper than I could rent that size tablecloth for (best rental price I could find for 120″ was $15). Plus, we can sell them afterwards 🙂

I know this is an old thread, but just a heads up.. linentablecloth.com has economy linens under the sales link. They are the cheapest ones I’ve found.
