Aww, no penises? Really? Just kidding! I threw a lingerie shower for my best friend this summer. We played a few games that I think everyone thought were fun. The best one was where we had each girl bring some underthings and pin them on a clothesline I had put up in my apartment - then the bride had to guess who brought which one and say why. She had some pretty funny guesses. Good times.
Ohh there are so many fun things you could do! Have you considered a theme? I think a Marie Antoinette or maybe an Alice in Wonderland theme would be great. I love the black+pink idea, and I'm sure you can find tons of cute lingerie in those colors to decorate with and then give them to the bride to be as a gift afterwards.
I guess this is not particular to a lingerie shower, but I love the idea of serving food in martini glasses. I read once about someone doing a mashed potato bar with toppings like cheese, chives, bacon bits, etc and it was served in martini glasses - but you could do the same thing with ice cream or pudding or anything really.
I love the panty line guessing game that October2010 suggested, and I'm sure there are other fun games and ways to make it fun.
I've heard of brides who wrap up all their lingerie in cute packaging so their groom can pick and open a new one for her to wear each night of the honeymoon. Maybe you can help your friend prepare something like that by bringing fun wrappings and having a re-wrapping party after she opens everything (or at least provide the wrap or suggest the idea)

I just had a lingerie shower and one of my favorite things was that the hostess decorated a chandelier in her living room with panties and bras that were mine to keep after the shower. It provided such a cute, easy decoration and everyone loved it! She also served cosmos in martini glasses which helped to keep with the classy, but lingerie theme.
A funny one that has been played while I was at a shower... some one wrote down the brides reaction to the gifts, like." oh that's nice" or "what am I supposed to do with this?" lol.... and then read them out as what she might say on the wedding night. It gets pretty funny! Not really a game I guess... but still fun. :)

I would suggest games that are personalized. For example at my shower we played games like charades & pin the flower on the dress, but not many games that were personalized to me & the groom.
For example, at my friends shower we played a game where each person had a little sign, one side said bride the other groom. And the host asks the bride & groom questions ahead of time & the guests have to guess if it was the bride or groom that said it, it was so fun! And another game is to ask just the groom questions and have the bride answer them & she has to answer correctly before she can open a present.
cute ideas! i've played the "guess who's panty" game, as well as pretend you're writing down who gave which gift as she opens them, but write her responses as well, and then read them at the end titled "what bride-to-be will say on her wedding night" everyone was rolling on the floor by the end of that. have fun!
My sisters threw me one, and they had a bowl with questions about me in it. They also had balloons blown up with slips of paper inside with something silly like walk like a penguine, or tell an embarrising story about yourself. Each girl took a balloon and a question. If they couldn't get the answer right to the question, I of course told them if it was right or not (i didn't know what the questions were, so it was really funny to see what they came up with) the girls had to pop their balloon and act out the slip of paper inside.

Hi bees!
My best friend is getting married in January and I'm hosting her lingerie shower (& she's helping with all of my showers & stuff too when it's closer to time!) I need some ideas of cute decorations & stuff or games to play. No penis's please!!! LOL! Anyone know of any websites with party decorations or anything like that?
I've been thinking about going with the colors pink and black, of course adding lace into the decorations. Stuff like that. Any ideas are greatly appreciated :)
