I have been searching for a long lasting lip color for some time and a girl at Ulta told me to try Revlon's ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick.  I did try it and wanted to give the bees my review and ask a question.

Do NOT buy it at Ulta or any other specialty place!  It was $11 at Ulta, $10 at Target, and only $8.30 at Walmart.

I tried the Garnet color, which comes out really red.  It's a bit messy to apply, so have a tissue ready.  And you really don't need much at all.  It looked much better color-wise when it dried.

IT WORKS!  It is a lip stain, so the color dries and goes matte but it lasts forever.  I ate and drank in it, kissed FI, even slept in it and still had plenty of color.  I plan to use it on the wedding day, with touch ups of regular lipstick for photos and such.  I'll wear only the stain for the ceremony though, so it doesn't come off on him.

My question for you all is how on earth do you get lip stain off????  I tried everything before it wore mostly off in about 12 hours.  Is it ok to use regular makeup remover on your lips to get it off?

Thank you for posting this :) I was tinking of trying something like that too...it actually sounds like a great idea! As for how to get it off, that is a good question too. Did you try somethinkg like "eye makeup remover"?

I have that product did not really work for me ...did not feel good on my lips (i have very sensitive lips) and for some reason did not last as long..beautiful color thu

I am going with Estee Lauder double wear gloss it REALLY stays and does not feel weird..much more expensive thu :)

as for taking the long lasting lip color off..try olive oil on a cotton ball (or coconut or almond oil) or Vaseline :) something oil based will take care of it..then make sure u put on lip balm :)
