I wore MAC lip primer, lip liner, and heavy gloss and lost my color pretty quickly.  I LOVED the way it looked though.  I just had extra for reapplication close by at all times.  With gloss, make sure to also have wipes close by.  I kept getting it all over Mr. HWs.  It probably wasn’t the best idea to have sparkles in the gloss either b/c it got all over him. ha! But the pictures still look fab.

Try Estee lauder double wear lip duo it stays on forever and looks perfect…i regret not wearing mine…i was being stubborn about wanting a natural look so i used a Revlon liquid lipstick it works but it feels much drier then EL also it is not as shiny and pretty 🙂

but the color i REALLY wanted by EL was discounitnued so the one i got i was not crazy about BUT then i wore it after the wedding and loved it 🙂

another good one i heard is L’oreal infallible the one with a balm and lip color.  If u are in USA u can try the drugstore ones and return the ones that failed:)

Have you tried other makeup counters to see if other brands stay on longer?

Cover Girl makes a lip stain/gloss combo that stays on a long time.

Benefit Lip Stain, will NOT come off I promise you! Its a “Cheek” stain as well! It will even stain your fingers (for the day) so have someone else apply for you!

But I also have heard REVLON (?) makes a great LONG LASTING gloss! =)

Revlons color stays are really good…I would actually say that they are comparable to dept stores and I think they have a better selection. I highly recommend Estee Lauder’s double wear lip liner. Pricey? Yes, but one of the absolute best products I’ve ever tried. Will without a doubt give you a defined lip. I like the color spice…a darker neutral.

I use CoverGirl Outlast. Colour goes on first, then clear layer. You will need to reapply the clear layer every couple of hours to keep your lips from drying out, but the colour doesn’t budge.

I swear Fiance has lipstick radar; every time I finish putting on lipstick he’s right there wanting a kiss, but this stuff never comes off!
