I did chapstick, even on my wedding day :) My lips have plenty of red to them without anything! Otherwise, I vote gloss.
I like both but I just hate reapplying. Manda which kind do you use. Usually they feel uber sticky, I'm not too fond of sticky lips.
On the wedding day I wore lipgloss. I think that you could probably get away with reapply less if you had a lipstain on first so that the color will stay and you would just need to reapply for the shiney factor.
gloss! i love Nars lip lacquer. it comes in a little pot and i apply is with a lip brush.
Lipgloss for everyday. For the wedding day, I am wearing a natural looking lipstick with gloss over it for a more made-up look in pictures as well as lasting power.
Both!! If I get dressed up I usually put lipstick on first and then top it off with gloss.
Lipgloss - I don't even think I own a tube of lipstick but to be completely honest I am more of a chapstick kinda girl!
Lipstick all the way. I hate lip gloss because it is so sticky that I end up loosing it on cups and whatnot immediately so I have to keep reapplying it. Also, I don't care for the glossy look personally.
I usually just wear lipstick, but for special occasions I'll do lipstick then lipgloss over it.

If you're wearing your hair down, I say lipstick, otherwise your hair will be constantly sticking to your face.
I'm doing a switcheroo. I'm wearing just lipstick at the ceremony and then adding gloss at the reception to sex it up a bit. The Nars matte lipstick I have lasts all day though, so it's really nice if you don't like reapplying.
I prefer lip gloss. For me, I like a glossier look because I feel like it's a little lighter and more modern.
I'll either be doing both (MAC lipstick and gloss), or liquid lipstick (Chanel Rouge Allure Laques or Laura Mercier Lip Velvets). I'll prpbably go with the liquid lipsticks for staying power and glossiness.
I would totally go for lip gloss... buy my problem is that my fiance hates lip gloss he has this thing about it. He already warned me not to wear it for the wedding because he dont want to kiss me with " that thing on " that is how he calls it ..lol so i guess i would go with a natural look of lipstick and some chapstik on top :-)

Chapstick usually. My lips are too big for much color, so I end up looking like an idiot with any sort of lipstick/lipgloss. *grumble*
I with mandalynn...hate lipstick...with a passion...usually a chocolate lip liner with some sort of high end gloss that has some glitter to it
I wear maybelline long lasting lipcolor. it is a lipstick with a gloss overtop.
Not sure what I'll wear at the wedding though
I'm a chapstick addict...for the wedding I'm probably going to go with gloss. Lipstick= so not good on me.
I am not a fan of gloss, and I normally don't wear any makeup, but for my wedding I went with a long lasting lipstick (Stila in Flushed, got it at Sephora). It isn't a permanent lipstick, but it stayed on most of the day. And it doesn't feel as heavy as some of the "stay proof" lipsticks.
I'm probably going to go the lipgloss route. But I'm planning on experimenting with some pale pink lipstains as well if I can find any.

Which do you prefer, I have tons of both but usually end up with chapstick. Which route will you take on your wedding day?
