We've all heard of these kinds of lists, and they're usually a little longer than 5, but I wanted to keep it short and sweet. What are some things you haven't done, but really hope to be able to, or find the courage to do, in your lifetime?
1) Fly on a plane - overcome fear of flying
2) Travel outside the U.S. (goes with #1)
3) Learn to play the violin
4) Substantial volunteer work for hungry/homeless
5) Learn professional photography
1) Go to grad school
2) Raft the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon
3) Raise kids with hubby :-)
4) Start a business
5) Travel, travel, travel
I like this!
1) Bungee jump
2) Write a symphony or a musical (of course I'd have to acquire some talent first but.. well whatever this is an aspirational list)
3) Ride the Trans-Siberian railway
4) Go to Papua New Guinea
5) Publish a book

i have a whole list of fun random things i want to do in my lifetime. most of it has to do with eating. lol.
1) travel to s. korea, japan, greece, italy, paris, australia, egypt, um...the world
2) sky dive [the guy has already told me i will be doing that by myself, but that he's willing to watch. lol]
3) surf well enough to own my own surfboard
4) have a loving and satifying relationship/marriage with my guy
5) leave my mark on the business world

@ tea - it is such a hauntingly beautiful instrument... I love to listen to it. That and the piano, but I have small hands. Definately not piano fingers.

@ okqueenbee - yes, which is why I haven't done it yet (and probably never will! LOL)
Aside from like, get married, have children and live happily ever after, here's my list:
1. Learn italian
2. Swim with dolphins
3. Backpack (or something a lil less minimalist like) Europe
4. Volunteer in Africa
5. Learn to box
I call this my bucket list and there are so many more things on there and I add to it all the time, I gotta get movin!
1. Have a job I love
2. Travel west of Tennessee!
3. Go to Europe
4. Get married and have kids

I've actually accomplished a ton on my list already. I've been to 15 countries and 25 states... I became a surfer, make a living doing what I love, am my own boss... I've been pretty blessed. These are one's I've yet to accomplish. The first half of the 1st one should be accomplished this may!
1) Photograph Yosemite National Park and different african tribes. (I'm a culture fiend)
2) Do an excursion to New Zealand, Kayaking, climbing, hiking.... exploring it's beauty
3) Take my FI to his dream, Rome.
4) Be a Hockey Mom
5) Move back to Texas, Houston preferably.
1. travel to all of the continents.
2. have a baby girl.

@KLP2010- I'm having my wedding at Yosemite Ntl Park! It's soooo pretty up there:)
Sooo my list....
1- get a PhD.
2- travel (loose requirement, I just want to go to some new places like Germany, Japan, Egypt, Ireland...whatever strikes my fancy at the time)
3- live somewhere other than San Diego for at least 2 yrs (I've lived here my entire life, save for that month I "lived"/studied abroad in Paris ;)
4- be in an upper management role by the time I'm 30 and/or be an executive before age 40
5- learn to play the piano. And maybe own one.
I know my list is ultra conditional, but 5 things seems too limiting!
1) raise happy, healthy, NORMAL children - the older I get the more I realize... people are weird.
2) Sit outside a café with an enormous pastry and latte in Vienna.
3) tour Mikhailovsky Castle in St. Petersburg
4) jump out of a plane (skydiving)
5) buy a home I love
1) Ride in a hot air balloon
2) write a novel
3) Start a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping at risk youth & their families, specifically foster children, homeless children, abused children, undereducated children,
4) play with my great grand children
5) Learn to play the piano (classical music)
***the above are not in any specific order of importance; I'd like to do all at once, but will take them as they come***
1) Buy the home of our dreams and live there for a very long time
2) Have a few babies :-)
3) Start my own piano teaching business

1. Go with hubby to Israel.
2. Have my photography business become much more profitable than it is now.

4. Buy a house with a big backyard for our dog/future kids.

1. Become a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) & Certified Meeting Manager (CMM)
2. See 7 wonders of the world (whether it be from the Ancient, Medieval, or "New" world wonders list) I want to see 7 :) We've been to the Collesseum & Chichen Itza, so we have 2 under our belt, 5 more to go! (Hubs acutally has 3 since hes been to the Great Wall of China, but I want to see it too, so he'll be going back :)
3. Learn how to speak Spanish fluently
4. Help the hubs restore a Blue Shelby Cobra & then drive it!!
5. Retire in Santorini

GREAT topic! In no particular order:
1. Write a book
2. Write a screenplay which gets produced!
3. Travel the WORLD
4. Spend as much time as possible with those I love.
5. Achieve a level of wealth which allows for total financial security for my own and my parents retirements.
What a fun topic:
1. Travel to Zimbabwe to see where my parents grew up
2. Have a happy healthy family with children
3. Finish my PhD (in year 2)
4. Go Skydiving (I have been bungee jumping but I am loosing the carefree attitude that will allow me to do it)
5. Travel the world

@okqueenbee, it is! it's so lovely. my older sister tried to play the violin once but didn't keep it up and i used to sneak and play with it when she wasn't home. maybe once i get resettled with work and i'm done with school i'll pick it up for real.
oh! and i want to add a 6th. i know it's cheating but i really. REALLY want to learn korean. been trying for the past 28 years of my life to no avail. but i think i can do it this time. hahaah
In no particular order, (and besides the usual, get married, have kids, be happy)
1. Have my own law firm.
2. Go sky diving
3. Travel to as many places as possible (I've got a good start on this one)
4. Help as many homeless/neglicted/abused animals as possible.
5. Have a very private house or cottage on a river or lake or some other body of water where FI and I can be completely alone and away from the world. Big porch swing is a must.

5. Start an organization, or work with one to help end hunger and homelessness in the United States. It breaks my heart to see people on the streets.

1. Travel - everywhere, or almost everywhere (not sure about places with arctic-like temps!)
2. Go to culinary school
3. Speak at least two foreign languages fluently - I've got a good start on French and SPanish.
4. Scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef
5. Kayak the San Juan Islands
1.) Get a PhD
2.) Become influential/respected in my field of study
3.) Visit every continent in the world at least twice.
4.) Learn to play the piano (and be good at it!)
5.) Live a long, healthy, happy life with my FI and hopefully a child or two.
I have a huge list (and checking it twice..sorry! been listening to christmas music all day)
1.) Travel (the list is really long. But, I want to go to every continent and every state)
2.) go and graduate from grad school
3.)Increase my knowledge in photography (well, my hobbies: scrapbooking, sewing, photography)
4.) Start a no kill animal sheltor/ help as many kitties (and other animals)/ and if I can't help: give money to those who can
5.) Become fluent in Spanish (so I can talk to some of my in laws without a translator)
***support my fi in his quest to be an air force pilot, get married and live happily, have kids (teach them spanish), get a career I love, scuba dive more often and in Australia, publish a craft book, pay off debt (and stay out of debt), design my own home....
